Waterman Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges, Short 'International', Inspired Blue, 6 Count

I bought these Waterman cartridges for an old Waterman Phileas fountain pen I found while cleaning out some old bins. I initially cleaned the pen and tried using some international short cartridges. Some googling indicated that those should work. But the Phileas seems to have something in the barrel that prevented those from fitting properly. These Waterman branded ones fit perfect and the pen writes very well. The blue is more or less similar to other blues by all the major pen manufacturers. It isn't better or worse but it's nice for personal or business use.

I ordered these cartridges for my Scriveiner fountain pen which uses international standard cartridges. They fit well in the pen. The ink is bold and dries fast. Serenity Blue is a bold, dark blue which looks fantastic. I would highly recommend.

Just the color of blue I wanted. Bold and rich, and looks great on paper. Highly Recommend, if you like a pleasant blue.

These are half the length of the normal refills but they work. I really like the dark blue color. Very professional looking. Sort of a blue/black. It wouldn't work for the Army which expects all ink to be black, but for most uses, it is great. And Waterman fountain pens are the best I've used, and I've tried many.

One of the most beautiful of the Waterman Inks ever made. It is a sky blue so beautiful you will never want to use another turquoise ink. It is also very smooth and wet in its' flow. A superb ink of the highest quality. I ordered more after trying it in a Waterman Carene fountain pen.

I don’t even want to write this review. I should have just bit the end of a pen off sprinkled blue ink all over the place it would have done the same thing.

These are just what you would expect them to be - the mini ink cartridges, 6-to-a-pack. they ship really quickly, and fit the standard fountain pens you'd expect them to fit.This is the navy color - unwashable in the sense that it isn't the blue that is erased by the correction pens.

I would give this 4.5 stars if it were possible. The quality of the ink is great, and it flows well on paper. It dries pretty fast and has a nice color. Just be aware that these are tiny cartridges, about 2 cm each which is about 3X smaller than the cartridge my Waterman Hemisphere fountain pen came with. I would go for a converter next time, or larger carts but if you just want to experiment with different colors, brands or types of ink, I would say this is the best way to go. Waterman is known for wetter inks that have great ink flow. If your looking for a faster drying ink, go with Mont Blanc. No regrets though because the ink quality is great and the price is good.

Habe mir das Mysterious Blue geholt, da ich dokumentenechte Tinte für das Büro wollte und mit dem Blau-Schwarz von Lamy nicht zufrieden bin. Ganz anders hier: Der Farbton ist sehr angenehm, nicht aufdringlich, aber trotzdem eben etwas Besonderes. Es sieht nicht einfach nach einem dreckigen graustichigen Blau aus wie bei Lamy. Es hat vllt eher einen leichten dunkelgrünen Stich, eben so, wie auf der Schriftprobe in den Abbildungen. Habe auch ein Foto mit Direktvergleich hochgeladen, oben Lamy, unten Waterman.Die Tinte ist im Vergleich zu Lamy etwas flüssiger. Mein Füller hat dadurch keine Anlaufschwierigkeiten mehr und dennoch drückt die Tinte nicht durch das Papier und verläuft auch nicht. Ich bin absolut zufrieden und werde mir wohl das Tintenfass für meine Konverter bestellen, sobald die Patronen aufgebraucht sind.
