Mid America Board and Batten 14" 4 Board Joined Vinyl Standard Shutter (1 Pair) - 14 x 35 002 Black

While others have complained that they were thin and cheap, I feel these were exactly what I expected for a vinyl shutter. They look great on the house and were sorta easy to install on a brick house (would have been a snap on wood). I am hoping my installer didn't put them on too tight but time will tell as they are snug to the house but only just snug i am not sure how much expanding and contracting to expect. I will absolutely update if they do not hold up. Installed April of 2023.

Flimsy shutters, they were put up loosely so the can expand and contract in the heat as instructed but they are curling a already. I may need to take down and maybe add a piece of wood behind it to stop the curling from the heat. Should be build with some molded in bracing in the back instead of hollow. Look is a 10, Quality a 5.

We had shutters for 13 years on the front of the house and finally decided to add some to the side. We ordered the same brand as had been installed by the builder. Yes, we were surprised to find out that they were vinyl, but the original ones look almost like new and have never required any maintenance. So, we ordered the same ones. They are made in the USA and are of good quality, They are also good value, very easy to install and look great. Except for you, no one will ever know that they are vinyl. So, why pay more and worry about maintenance?

Very easy to install with 1/4 masonry bit. One plug did break but I used screws for the middle. Changed the entire look of the front of my home. Love them!! Wish I would have bought them sooner

We purchased these for a home that we are getting ready to sell. It gave the home such charm. They are sturdy and strong and easy to installed. Great quality. I highly recommend these items.

Delayed product. Poor communication (Amazon does not even show it ever shipped or I received it). I cancelled the order because of the delay and a week later the shutters were delivered by UPS. The shutters have no back, so they tend to warp, hence the need for lots of screws. (Through Amazon they come with two types of screws) They look fine from a distance, but I would not buy again. They are cheap, look cheap, but duh, they are vinyl. A plus is that they are made in the USA.
