Amazing alternative snowboard jacket.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an actual Burton snowboard jacket. This one is my alternative snowboard jacket for 2020/2021 season. I usually wear Uniqlo ultra worm and over the neck light weight fleece inside this jacket as my base and mid layers. With these two layers inside the jacket, I don't feel cool at all. This is waterproof jacket. I'm 5'7" & 170 lb. I bought size s because I like slim fit look. It is super tight but I still manage to put base and mid layers inside this jacket size S. I think Size M will fit me perfectly or I have to lose 20 lb to fit size S perfectly.

Great Design! Keep in mind - This is an unstuffed shell jacket.
My fiancé is 5’6” and 130lbs. We picked him up a small. Fit is true to size and the style is definitely his. We love quality for the best price. We know the brand and trust it. We can only keep a limited amount of snow clothing since we live in apartment in Texas yet still want to fit in on the slopes. The fiancé is so excited to tear up the mountain in this. My only complaint is that there was not a big point to the fact that this is an unstuffed shell only jacket. I know now that this is a trend and to do many layers however I did not prior to this purchase. We are in the fence about how many layers he will need and if we think what we have will suffice to keep him warm on the colder days. We are going to try it out when season comes again and have high anticipation of it living up to expectations.

Amazing jacket at a great price!
I love this Snowboarding/Winter sport shell from Burton. For under a hundred bucks it is a steal I use non insulated shells for pretty much all conditions so I need a jacket that can handle a few layers underneath and this jacket can manage that without being baggy or loose when I'm down to a t shirt. It is really lightweight and maneuverable with just the right amount of pockets and functionality. I don't lug around a lot of stuff when I ride so I do not need pockets all over a jacket. Like all Burton equipment I have ever owned this jacket is made from amazing wind, water and element resistant materials and does everything you need a layering shell to do. Absolutely recommend.

Great Jacket! Keeps You Dry.
I had ordered 3 separate Burton Portal Jackets because I was going on a trip and didn't know if I was a medium or large, and couldn't decide on the color I wanted. One of the grey jackets I received had a slice on the back of it, so I had to return that one for sure. The medium grey was a bit snug on me so I returned that one as well. The final jacket I had was a large Salmon Redish color and it was by far the cheapest of the 3, only costing $34. WHAT A STEAL! The jacket held up great! I went to Mt. Bachelor for a bachelor party and was there for 3 days. I didn't get wet at all. The shell worked perfectly. Fit me really well, even with a jacket underneath. I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a good shell.

Very good rain jacket
This is one of the rare jackets that i found which fit me really well. Im 5'3" medium built so not many jackets fit well. it has a slim profile, and its not too long. the sleeves are also a good length. all other jackets that i have bought were either too long in length or sleeves were too long. I wish there were some vents in this jacket so that it doesnt get humid inside the jacket but i guess you cant have it all.

SIZED SMALL
I completely loved this high quality "shell" jacket. However, I find it sized small, particularly in the arms. There would be hardly any room for layering. I must add that I had wanted a 2X but took the available 1X.A well-made garment.

Great go to rain jacket
This jacket is awesome. I'm 5'8", 160 lbs and its a perfect fit. Basic jacket that goes with anything. I live in Seattle and this is now my go to rain jacket. It's not too warm, but easy to layer with and it definitely keeps me dry.

After a few months I decided to buy another jacket in black color
Liked this jacket so much I bought another in black color. Nice and light so you can easily wear a sweater underneath. Hood offers good protection from rain and can be tightened via straps. zipper pockets are great, still have my wallet and smartphone so the zippers are holding tight! I'm 6'0 and 240LBS. jacket fits well. Cuffs have elastic, good to keep rain out (I find this great for when I am biking; arms stay dry).
