Gardena Accessory Adapter (2)

Plastic but made in Germany, so far so good.

For some reason it's hard to find genuine Gardena products in our local garden centers and hardware stores. But if you have Gardena connectors (as I have for 30 years) you know how convenient and helpful they can be. After a few decades, plastic fatigue sets in and you need to replace these pop-in adapters. Glad Amazon had them, and they are a perfect fit for both very old and brand new Gardena hose ends.

Unlike the cheap crap from China, this set works great, connects effortlessly!! Good job, Germany!!

Needed an adapter for my sprinkler and Gardena hose. This works great. No leaks.

Only needed one had to buy two.

These may be plastic but they are very sturdy. My wife likes the quick release hose Gardena has and the set only came with one adapter. I bought extra to put in all the attachments we use (watering, pressure nozzle, miracle grow) I don't see a thing wrong with them and if you have the Gardena quick release system you will want to have these around unless you only use Gardena nozzles.

I like using these quick release connectors. These are easy to use and do not leak. The only flaw is that they are somewhat fragile. I use them to attach sprinklers and watering wands to hoses. I have had a number of them break when pulling the hose by the sprinkler or wand. Now I try to remember to pull the hose instead. Also had one break when I dropped a wand it was attached to.

Appears too be the Actual Gardena product but at a much more reasonable price from what you can get at Brick and mortar stores - if you can find them - just need to be able to wait for delivery which in our case was a few weeks.

They seemed to be the real deal but they were short lived. Both cracked below the threads. Hoping to find a metal alternative
