I watched several reviews which made me settle on this one. So far, I've only used this on my Fiskars hand pruner which had gotten really dull. I have very small hands and this sharpener was easy to hold. Directions were easy to follow. Just a few pulls through the sharpener and the pruners were cutting smoothly through twigs and my cat palm again. Can't wait to use this on my larger loppers. Bought this in the bundle with the knife sharpener which I haven't used yet. Highly recommend for the money.

Ich bin hochzufrieden mit dem. Schärfer. Habe damit, Küchenmesser, Taschenmesser, Jagdmesser, Scheren, Gartenscheren, Axtscheren und Äxte geschliffen - jeweils mit deutlich merklichen Effekt. Oft aus sehr stumpf, sehr scharf gemacht. Die Bedienung ist im wahrsten Sinne kinderleicht, weil auch mein Zehnjähriger sein Taschenmesser damit schärfen kann.Ein Profi mit Wasserstein und der richtigen Technik bekommt das vermutlich noch besser hin, aber für mich ist dies der beste Kompromiss aus Ergebnis und Aufwand.5 Sterne.

As soon as I received this I was using it to sharpen scissors and knives from the kitchen, both of which were much sharper. The knife was particularly noticeable, recently it had been a struggle to slice root vegetables, but now it glides through even Parsnips and Swede with ease.Afterwards, I sharpened secateurs and garden tools. My rather old hoe, I think that it was my Grandpa's, was in a bad state, but this sharpener quickly got and edge on it that sliced through weeds.I'm glad that I bought this as it can be used on a variety of tools from the kitchen, the garden, and the workshop.It is comfortable to hold and easy to use. I'd recommend it.
