Functionality
Saved me a lot of money..instead of buying new curtains..as the tape header was worn out (it wouldnt hold the old hooks) My curtain was still in good condition..now sortedJust threaded these metal hooks under the old tape and voila

Very good
I had plastic ones of these but they kept braking. There work wonders and looks better than the ones I had.

Fiddly. Influencers tout these as a hack?
I buy ikea curtains due to high ceilings in my house. Most off the shelf ready-mades are not long enough. I bought these hooks as a hack to give 'a high end' pleating look. First off I had 4 curtain panels to work through but I can't help but think that the old fashioned pinch pleat curtain tape worked much more effectively than using these hooks. They are extremely fiddly and very time consuming. Each hook takes up to 5 minutes to wiggle through all the sections, made only slightly easier by the use of cocktail sticks placed in the tape first. It can be hard to figure out which sections to use to get the correct width, unlike pinch pleat tape where you just pull the correct width for your track / rail and then mess around with the pleats until they hang nicely. On one side of my window I have pinched too tightly and so the curtains do not reach the middle properly though give good pleating effect. I will have to completely remove all hooks from each curtain to try again. Given I also need to hem them and have a good 3-4 inch spare it may just be easier to cut the tape off and sew my own onto the fabric. Not the fault of the hooks. They serve a purpose and are sturdy enough, though an odd one likes to jump out of the little eyelet on the curtain ring from time to time. I would caution against these being any kind of hack.

Elevates Simple Curtains
The hooks were a little fiddly to install, but a very affordable way of elevating basic Ikea curtains. Work well with our curtain track.

Delighted.
Absolutely delighted with this product. Transformed a set of standard pencil pleat headed curtains into something that looks far more expensive than they actually were.

Don't bother, utter rubbish
Curtain hooks unfit for purpose. The metal isn't soldered in the centre, so the hook is totally off-centre, asymmetric. The ends of the metal wires are finished so badly (not a smooth rounded end) they snag in the fabric - the very few in the pack that were vaguely symmetrical were almost impossible to insert as they snagged the fabric. Extremely poor quality. I've returned for a refund.
