The missing key to predator hunting!
I picked up predator hunting about a year or so ago. Since then, I've slowly accumulated various gear but for some reason I had held off on a purpose built predator light. Like many other times in life, I realized as soon as I got a particular piece of gear that it should have been the first thing I got. That was this light!I shopped around quite a bit and researched the other well known predator specific lights. Wicked Lights, Night Snipe, Coyote Light, etc. It seemed as though most had similar feature sets but the thing that made this one stand out was the ability to swap from red/white/IR without any hardware change. This makes it super easy to be the gun mounted light for both a regular scope with red, or to throw on my IR rig and run completely IR. That versatility is what I was looking for. The others do similar but typically require a hardware swap which is just one extra piece for me to lose or keep track of.Before taking on a hunt, I took my dog to an open field to see how far away I could pick up his eyes with this particular light on the red setting. I parked him in a sit/stay and walked to 100 yds and checked with the focus as wide as possible but with the beam on the highest intensity. At 100yds, I could easily see his eyes glowing. I walked out to 200yds and did the same. Same result. Two glowing orange orbs off in the darkness. Same test at 300yds. Same result although I could tell it was getting more difficult to see the glowing eyes while the light was on the widest focus. Turning the bezel to about half focus cleared that up and I was once again seeing bright orange glowing eyes from my pooch. Since coyotes are so similar, I figured this would be a good test of the light. This proved to be true as I ran the light on full flood focus but the highest brightness setting and last night I was able to pick up a coyote coming in at 200 yds. Once he was closer to 100yds, I turned the bezel to focus the light more and was able to safely identify it as a coyote and then take a kill shot.I can't comment too much on how it would compare to the other lights that are available but I would say that this one does all of the things I needed it to and I'm considering getting a second so that I have one gun mounted while the other is used solely for scanning. In the image, I have a Leapers/UTG quick detach for attaching to a scope mounted rail and then behind that, a scope mount rail attached with a Magpul Rail grip so I can use it as a hand held scanning light or take the grip off and attach it to any of the scopes I have rails mounted on.

Well built quality unit!!
Very nice unit. Lighting selections and switches are very positive and defined. Dimmer/power button is smooth and quiet. Would recommend a large standoff pic rail attachment to improve kit. But I am happy with the quality of product!

Loose kneck and focusing fixed
For anyone who gets this light and the fousing system is loose. Mine was too. Look into the lense and there are 3 philips head screws that are going to be loose. Hust take the shroud off and the lens out and you can access the screws and youll be good as new. Other than that great light
