We have been asking for if you see "Smooth" Newsprint printed on the cover of the pad, not your personal impressions of the texture. So what is it?

The title says smooth, newsprint paper but the picture shows rough surface. Is this a smooth surface pad?

Would the rough texture be good for oil pastels?

Does it becomes yellow over time?
