Just got this yesterday and have to return it. It was a good idea but came up short in all areas.1. Brightness: Really wasn't enough for a desk lamp. Maybe during an emergency it could be used as a flash light, but then I could have just gotten a Mag lite.2. Proprietary cable is to short. I think it is about 4 ft long so it can't reach too far if put at a permanent location3. Sturdiness: Construction of the lamp is decent but as other poster has stated. It must be on flat surface and it can still tip over easy.----------------------------Update.I have decided to keep it after spending a bit more time over the weekend. When the light is fully charged, it is brigther and much more usable. I have an USB extension cable lying around so I was able to extend the reach. Still wish the charging cable is longer or use standard USB connector.I also found another use of the light. I was able to put it on top of the piano during practice to get better lighting on the piano books.The kids definitely get a kick out of it as it is so much brighter when doing their homework or reading exercise.

It gets so bright yet can be so soft. My only complaint, and I wouldn't call it it that, is that the small base makes it prone to falling over. But that is really okay for me because it makes the lamp so easily transportable and able to stand in little desk space. The battery also lasts a very long time. I have not tested full length tests, but for the desk work I do, maybe two hours at a time, it is fine. Plus I just plug it in to charge and its great. I'll probably buy a second soon.Update--I've had this lamp for over a year now and just a few things I'd like to add. The form of the base is not very well shaped. Any little bump tips it, no matter how light the touch. I do a lot of desk work at night and love the three light settings. But I've tipped it sommany times unintentionally that it just gets annoying. Also, the battery is starting to go. It used to last so long now I get one use out of it

Quite bulky if you want everyday portable but otherwise its aesthetic and gives off a sufficient amount of light to do homework

Got two of these for my desk. These are super cool. They rotate on the base and fold out. I attached them to my desk and I can rotate them down flat to the desk when I’m not using them. Very pleased with these

It's a good lamp. However, as you can see, the base is very narrow, which makes the unit easy to tip over. The manufacturer needs to make the bottom of the base slightly wider to improve its stability. Otherwise, a very well-designed product.

good lighting, could use a bit more unplugged time

This is a great, well built light. I didn't want cords to my coffee table, but I wanted a good light with long battery life.This is it!Also use it for close up lighting on projects. Worth every penny.

Battery life is not that great, even on stand-buy it runs out of battery fast
