Q: Does this hose have the 2 prongs that fit into the outlet?

There is a hard plastic "U" shape on the end on the hose that is approximately 14/16" . At the top of each end there is what you might consider a prong. When you put the hose into the socket this U helps hold the hose into the wall.

Q: If i have a friction connect accessory that accepts 1.25 inch handle will this handle work? I noticed it has a push pin for the accessory.

It will still accept a friction tool/wand

Q: How do you make the on/off switch work? Mine always stays on.

Make sure to plug the hose properly in the outlet. There is a separation of the metal band around the hose where it plugs on the walk. The 2 connector points in the wall outlet should land on each side of the metal ring gap. The switch then makes the connection to the vacuum. Hope this helps.
