BuxtonHeiress Checkbook Case Wallet

The design is irreplaceable, this workmanship almost indestructible. I have secure separate compartments for bills; coins (zippered); i.d. cards such as SS, library, memberships; medical & insurance cards; checkbook, checking accnt register, & debit receipts; credit card register; emergency numbers; and even more all additionally secured with an ample wraparound tab that buttons. Am replacing an identical one that my body-builder grandson pulled the zipper tab off the end of the track when hurriedly retrieving change for me....it still looked nearly new after 5 yrs of daily use. I could have had a leather shop put that tab back on, but didn't want to be without this wallet/purse a day. My credit cards are in a matching leather case, btw, both red for easy sighting.

This was the perfect size, color, and fit for my needs. 7 1/2 x 4. I bought a check divider and it was a win. It holds everything I need it to and has the zipper pockets for security. Great price and very durable. I really like it.

This women's wallet is very organized. I would buy no other. Please keep in mind that the size fits a regular purse. I don't think it could work with a small purse.

I gave this to my Mom and she is really happy. It is easy fo her to get her drivers license out also!

I recently decided to replace my old zip around big fat Buxton faux leather wallet with this one. From the online images, it appeared identical to my old one except it's real LEATHER; a huge PLUS! However, it's MUCH SMALLER than my old one of nearly 8 years. Also, the main credit card slots are located on the flap of the removable checkbook cover; making it not too secure to place cards there. In addition, you cannot place cards horizontal into the small/ short slots, but must place them vertically and it doesn't hold the cards well, in my opinion. There is also another card section in the zippered compartment for four, and that space holds my cards correctly. Because the wallet is smaller than my original Buxton, it holds MUCH LESS! On the upside, it looks very nice & is made of soft, quality leather and should last e a long time! Amazon had the best price on this wallet in the Black color. Love my new wallet, but I do miss the size of my old one very much. Excellent wallet for the price & I recommend it! (Comes in a nice box with ribbon around wallet. )

I ordered this Buxton billfold as a replacement for my wife's current billfold which was a Buxton that she just loved. After many years of use, it was beginning to show signs of everyday use.

I have been buying this same wallet since I was a teenager and I am now in my 50's. It lasts for years and I am rough on my wallet. It changed a tiny bit over the years but nothing bad. I will never want a different wallet as long as I live. I love it!!

I have purchased this wallet many times in the past. I loved it. However, this is smaller than the older ones. The change section is so tight, it's difficult to get your hand in to get the change out and the bill section is smaller so that the bills have to be forced into the section.

This is a good size not too big and not too small. The compartments are good and plenty of them. The coin area takes a lot of change. I would definitely recommend. I have bought a spare as well.

Got one of these years ago and it has pretty well held the test of time. However, I can feel the difference in the quality of the leather between the two. As well, the zippers are not the same quality as the previous version. However, the dimensions are the same and it does feel well constructed. Will update if necessary.
