These little toys are so cute! They are lightweight and I like that the rings and the peg are shiny metal because our quaker parrot is drawn to the shininess of it. The little balls are really cheap, though, and after getting dropped on the floor several times from our bird, they are practically breaking apart. Seems like they should be a little more durable than that. We can’t wait to get her trained to use these!

While these perches were made with real wood, they were gigantic. In the pictures it makes them seem much smaller. We have two budgies(parakeets and the weight was too heavy for the cage even. My birds were terrified of them and wouldn't move. I added an orange highlighter to one of the pictures to show how big they truly are. These perches are more for a much bigger bird.

These will work but I have already ordered new stands. The pictures portray these to be larger stand but they work temporary. Still good products

One of the branches came split so the bit that screws on to the main perch is not steady.

It took a day or two but my budgies started using it a lot. I don't know if it's wood....but I think it isn't. It is textured and also looks like real wood and is easy to just screw in the branches. You would need a flat top cage to screw it in at the top when you set it up. I suppose you could rig up some wire or twine and attach it somehow to the bolt on top and let it be a swing perch, but that's not what I needed so not sure. Both my budgies use this perch every evening. I think they have their special branches picked out. Seems like they related to it as a natural way they'd perch in on different branches of a tree. I have a fairly large size cage but now I feel inspired to get them a bigger one as they are such active and playful types of bird. It's fun to set up an environment they can play in and this perch is a nice addition. Incidentally, it's nothing to clean it, although with the branches of the perch being at different height and direction poop doesn't build up on it at all which is a huge plus!

Item was smaller than anticipated. I bought it for my cocktails, but it was too small. I used it for my parakeets instead. It is perfect for them and they love it. I wish I could find a bigger one for the cocktail cage

It attached well but doesn't suction like the review asked but I gave it 5 stars anyway because this perch deserves it. Our green cheak conure loves it and it is now his most used perch but I wouldn't use it for a much larger bird. Perfect size for our guy, we bought two. One hangs inside his cage that he has claimed as his favorite spot but that makes one of the perches unused by him as it's too close to the top of the cage. It's still his favorite. The second one is on the top of the outside of his cage in order to give him perching options on the top of his cage. He uses it less because he would rather explore while out but I still consider buying a couple more to put more on top of his cage to give him better ways to get around up there.
