Good screen, replacement doable, tools and adhesive sold separately
The LCD assembly was reasonably priced, and fixed my phone to practically the original form and function. It took me about 3 hours to get the old cracked screen off and install the new one just using how-to videos on Youtube. My LCD assembly did NOT come with adhesive or tools. I ordered those just in case, and I'm glad I did. In addition to your phone and new LCD assembly you'll need at least: A T5 screwdriver, small Phillips screwdriver, the plastic pry tool for the case and screen or some equivalent, a blow drier or heat gun, some adhesive double sided tape, and something to cut the tape with. I also used tweezers with the adhesive tape and a small slotted screwdriver for prying and getting rid of left over cracked glass. It's very doable for the average person with some familiarity with electronics.I cannot tell the difference between the new screen and the original, except the common complaint that the status light is brighter, but I really don't care how bright or dim the status light is. The screen is supposed to be OEM (original equipment manufacturer) so if the advertising is honest it should be gorilla glass, but I would not be surprised if it was not. As mentioned above, the glass over the status light is not tinted like the original screen, so who knows. All in all, the contour and feel of the glass is the same, and the look of the LCD is the same. My buddy has the same phone with the original screen and it looks and feels exactly the same to me. They both had the same responsiveness to touch, etc, I'm very happy to have my phone back, and I'm glad I bought this product. I would definitely buy again.

Item is as described, this is a reputable business.
I accidentally ordered this item instead of the Nexus 5 replacement digitizer, but I figured I would leave a review with my experience since no one else has. The item arrived as scheduled, and was packaged appropriately with no signs of damage. The replacement digitizer looked just as it does in the picture, so it was good to go. My only issue was that I ordered the wrong one, which was no fault but my own. I contacted the seller, and they replied back to me immediately, letting me know that there was no issue with returning the item as long as it was in the condition that they sent it (which it was). I was charged a 20% restocking fee, which is understandable as it was my own fault for purchasing the wrong item. But I appreciated the business that was done, and if anyone else has a hesitation with this product, I hope this review will put your mind at ease.

Worked great for a while, then cracked.
UPDATE: this screen started to chip, crack, and spiderweb after just a few months of use. Looks like I will be replacing it again.Dropped my N4 and made a nice spiderweb. LCD was undamaged but touch input was not working. After researching the fun-with-glue required to separate the digitizer/glass from the LCD screen itself (and re-glue the replacement), I opted to purchase this assembly and save myself some headache. Works perfectly so far. Can't really tell the difference between this and the original. There are some subtle manufacturing differences between this and the screen I removed from my device - markings, stickers, the plastic sheets which insulate components, etc. - nothing shocking for an electronic device made over a few years. Looks and feels OEM to me.You will not need to separate the glass from the screen, but you will need to heat up (with heat gun or blow dryer) the damaged assembly and pry it off. I used a razor blade between the glass and the metal bezel after heating to about 120-140F. I don't recommend the razor blade, because the thin metal bezel around the screen now looks like mice chewed it up. You will need some 2mm double-sided tape (easily found in the suggestions) to stick the new assembly onto the frame. No glue needed.

Not OEM, Low quality with assembly defects
I bought this screen because of the prime shipping. I could have saved 20% if I had the time to wait for shipping from china, but the benefit of having a working phone ASAP outweighed the difference in price. The screen arrived quickly thanks to prime, so I popped it in. I connected everything and sure enough, it worked. I used 3M double sided tape cut with a razor blade to seat the glass to my phone.I set it aside to charge, and after a few minutes of use, I noticed two spots on the center of the screen where using the touch screen puts pressure on the LCD. Anytime I press or release anywhere on the screen, those two spots light up like I'm pushing directly on the LCD.The screen is of comparable brightness to the old screen, but suffers from reduced off-axis viewing angle. The black levels are much worse than the previous screen, so reading with a night mode app is has severely reduced contrast, resulting in reduced image clarity.I was able to separate my own LCD from the broken digitizer without breaking it, but didn't feel like gluing a new digitizer on, so I bought this screen. If this screen breaks I will definitely use my old LCD and glue a new digitizer on it so that I have a quality screen again! It will just be a matter of finding a glue that does not add any tint.

Not sure if OEM; 12 Days delivery to Canada; Repair process wasn't difficult.
The LED notification light isn't the same as the original one when I bought the Nexus 4. However, 5 stars because everything works perfectly so far. It took a total of 12 days to be delivered to Canada from, I believe, Hong Kong. The repair process was much easier than replacing the Digitizer alone. A Youtube tutorial, the right tools, and patience will be perfect.

My phone is like new
This is a good value. It may not be OEM or strong as the original Gorilla Glass but the Nexus 4 is a easy to repair cellphone.. iFixIt.com has a great tear down. Take your time, organize your screws, donโt accidentally forget to connect the earphone connector ( a common mistake I made or you will get an endless animation at boot) and all will be well. Get a pre-cut double sided adhesive tape backer for this... it does not come with any.
