It is exactly what it says it is.
HJC was a lil odd to get the numbers straight to figure out the compatible fog lens but this is what it says it is and does what it is supposed to do. Been out a few times and no fog. Just like a double pane window, it keep a pocket of air between the fog lens and visor. Make sure to put the side with the rubber border on the visor. :)

Minimized Face Shield Fogging during cold months
The only time i noticed my face shield fog is when i left the helmet out with the bike on cold night while playing tennis league match. The moment i put the helmet on it does fog and that's why i had the face shield in up position first and let the air clears the fog while the bike moves slowly. A few minutes later the fog is gone and i close the face shield. As long as there's air circulation going though the inlet then there's no fog that i can remember.I didn't notice the face shield fogging up during spring and summer.

Good but, one small thing
Use mainly in sub 50 weather works great until sub 40 starts to fog to an extent around the edges with or without vents open, but at least I can still see the road. Probably won't apply to most riders

If you ride on cool temps, you need one!
Fit as expected, so easy to install. Works perfectly. Keeps your visor clear. Your eyeglasses? Not so much. lol.

For those who know what a Pinlock is: It's a Pinlock. It works great, as expected. Nothing complicated about it.For those who are unfamiliar: It is a clear piece of plastic (I think acrylic) that attaches to the inside of your helmet shield to a locking pin on each side. (Oh, so that's why they call it a Pinlock.) It creates a tiny air gap between the Pinlock and your shield where humidified air from your breath/sweat cannot easily enter but more importantly insulates the Pinlock from the colder outer shield. The combination of these effects makes it extremely difficult to fog up. You can fog it up if you really try hard enough, so stop doing that, and you will get the best fog resistance you can get for your helmet, far better than any anti-fog sprays or coatings.The only caveat is that the pins can differ in size, spacing, or even existence. So be sure to get a Pinlock that says it works specifically for your helmet. This one, for example, is for HJC shields and fits perfectly in my HJC i10 helmet.
