This is my first personal laptop however I have used a school one, family one and different computer at home. This computer runs way faster and smoother, has plenty of storage, looks gorgeous and weighs like maybe 5lbs! I absolutely love it. Now I'm no tech person however I did a lot of research and plan to use this computer for college/schoolwork and basic games. Camera quality is low so I would not use for creating videos, however for me personally the camera does not matter. The only issue is that I am unable to figure out how to brighten the backlight on the keyboard, so it is difficult to see during the day. At night it is great, so if you are someone that tends to look at the keyboard when typing maybe get a different laptop or be able to figure out how to turn up the brightness. (Because I haven't found a way). overall, definitely a 5-star review. I love Asus way better than HP or Dell and recommend an intel core processor of an i5 or above. Great computer for us not so techy people that want a great laptop for a cheaper price but not get a trashy cheap one.

This particular model of Asus laptop is quality. First of all, it's got an aluminum frame, as opposed to cheap plastic that most laptops are made from these days. The S15 S533 is solid. The graphics are phenomenal. And the beautiful metallic red color is gorgeous. I could only find a better laptop if I paid $1500-$2000. This one will last you. Not one issue with it, and every time I've purchased a new laptop, there are issues. Always something I've got to fix. I highly recommend the Asus S15 S533. I'm happy I got the red. The green and the white are ok, but the red is stunning.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: Take a bow Asus! 1 year and 5 months in, a student tripped on an HDMI cable and my laptop was yanked from my desk to the concrete floor! I was surprised to find that the laptop powered on and ran as normal. It’s been a week since and so far so good. I guess the metal chassis did its job. The only minor sign of damage is the lid doesn’t close as snugly as before.When it fell, I immediately thought that was the end of it but was surprised to see there was almost no damage. I’m glad to know that what’s on the outside is as good as the performance I’ve had so far.ORIGINAL: I’m very pleased with my laptop. It’s slim, lightweight and powers up in about 12 seconds. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Thunderbolt 4 port. It wasn’t advertised on the specs here for this version with the i5-1135G7 processor.The battery charging can also be adjusted if you plan on keeping the laptop plugged in while in use. There is also a blue light blocking feature that can be adjusted to your preference.

This laptop is very sleek looking, nice color, and keyboard keys are easily usable. A bit disappointed about the processor speed, but the seller came through.

This computer is completely useless new out of the box. It will not turn on. Interestingly enough, the lights that say it are charging and that the computer is on still stay on even if the cord isn't plugged in, I included a photo that is probably hard to see but should show that this computer is not plugged in yet the charging light is still on (you can see I'm holding the charger and the charger is out of my laptop.)This is my 5th ASUS and none of them have done this. Complete lemon and a waste of 2 days without a laptop, plus waste of my time dropping this off for a return.

I bought this laptop to use for work, i normally uses lenovo brand but i decide to change to this asus laptop beacuse i like the specs and desing.When i recieve the laptop looks great, has a good looking, the screen are ok and its fast.but the firts disappoiment was its dont have the chance to upgrade de memory ram, so its i feel this laptop its for a home/basic use.The second disappoimnet was the difficult to see the keyboard letters, the color of the bottoms and the color of the letter shape are too similar so its to difficult to see and the light of the keyboard its too bad.And the worst its the keyboard distribution, i dont know why asus try to change the distribution of the numeric keyboard and try to do the keyboard a little smaller, so its so difficult get use to use this keyboard.If you has to write a lot and use the numeric keyboard this laptop its a nigthmare

I could not be happier with this purchase. After using an HP laptop for several years, my son recommended this product & I have not been disappointed. It fires up quickly, has a nice keyboard, connects to peripherals easily, & is very lightweight. All without suffering any glitches in operation. This should last me for years, as it will easily do my emails, banking, music, photo applications (even older ones) without a hitch.
