Old standby that works.
Nice waterer. These were in the barn where I board, but over 30 years of use made them bit wonky. Put in new ones and they work great. Make sure you adjust the water pressure or they will spray all over! I'd definitely but these again.

We bought these to replace waterers that had floats which never worked properly. These do the job! Our horses figured out how to use them right away. Now my only problem is that they like to play in the water.

So difficult to find these where I live and when I do they are really expensive. Won’t use any other waterers.. love them..bought 3 or 4…

Terrible - never worked correctly and only lasted about a month with constant fiddling
Updated review. This thing never really worked correctly. We installed it and had no end of problems getting the water to flow when the paddle is pushed down. If the paddle was only pushed part way, the water would flow but a full push (as a horse will do) causes the water flow to become constricted. We finally found that if we kept the input pressure down, the water would flow but that only lasted for a few weeks. Terrible. The thing is now sitting on my workbench and catching dust. What a waste of money. I recommend that everyone who has horses look to a different type of watering device. I bought a Fortiflex over the fence waterer and it works much better.

Not a reliable water source.
It took about a month before I got this installed. Then it worked great for about another month. My mare learned to use it quickly, the water was never too hot, and I loved it being fresh whenever she wanted it. Then it started being erratic about turning the water on when depressed. There have been times it won't turn on for me when I depress it as many as 50 times. I have great water pressure, and have turned the only control knob both directions to no avail. Since this was to be my horse's sole source of water, and I live in hot Texas, it doesn't work for me. I tried calling the manufacturer re. replacing it or repairing it, but the phone number was out of service. I have not been able to trace down a current manufacturer, and of course it quit after the 30 day return policy for the online company was applicable.
