Really surprised at the results! I applied the wax a couple times to achieve a better look. I used the wax with minwax true black wood finish to get more of a contrast. The wax will show up as white, regardless of wood stain. A little pricey compared to retail store, but could not find this in my area.

If you want that beautiful woodgrain to pop and show its true beauty this is the product to use. I have used several times and am still amazed at the way it highlights the depth and grain in the wood. Even unremarkable grain can be turned into a thing of beauty. It polishes and seals the wood with a satin finish that brings out the warmth in the wood as well. I have several refinishing projects lined up and will use this product on everyone of them. I apply several thin coats with hand polishing after each coat, it seems the more coats I do the more the grain shines. I highly recommend this product, and wish I had known about it some time ago.

Gives a nice matte finish. With white antiquing in the wood grain.

This left a film after we had already stained and let our table dry. We had to remind and start over. Wound up finishing our table with a clear FLAT varnish.
