Otherwise they work fine and I am using them and trying to figure out a way to get the shades to stay in place.

Poor action and cost too much.
Not happy with this product. It's hard to find this type of base without threads for the lamp shade. I installed it and it works, but the action of the switch is poor and isn't reliable. You sometimes have to push it through harder and wiggle it after it stops to turn the light on. Waste of money. Think I found some at Lowe's... Not in the lighting section, but in household wiring. Otherwise hard to find online.
