So easy and kids are ecstatic
Product was great, just what is needed and my kids love that the stove light works again! Instructions were super clear. And I’m loving that the circuitry improvements mean that the batteries will last a long time! Worth the $

Fun project with your kid, great service to humanity.
I love that Jeremy has made this project and continues to share it with us all. Our circuit board was corroded and replacing it was a fun project with my 5 year old. We got to talk about power and the transfer of electricity. It was easy enough that she didn’t get bored. My set up was ever so slightly different with only one screw on the circuit board rather than three. Somehow that meant that when I popped the top back on things didn’t align perfectly. That took a lot of finessing and I ultimately left one tab of the top panel I clicked and left the screw off entirely. It works great and I’m glad to have my kids favorite feature renewed.

Thank you so much for providing this circuit board to repair the stove top in the toy kitchen. It just increases the kitchen fun, the kids have. It was easy to install, I did need needle nose pliers to disconnect the old board, but they snapped into the new one easily. So much nicer to fix than trash something to get a new one. I appreciate it!

In 5 mins our 2016 IKEA stove was fixed!
Our 2016 IKEA play kitchen burners stopped working a few years ago, first one and then the other. Not surprising after 3 kids. It’s our 4-year old’s favorite toy, so I was looking into buying a replacement stove top unit when I came across this circuit. I’m not handy at all, but with the clear step-by-step instructions I had the circuit board swapped out and working perfectly in 5 mins. Thank you!

Good quality and design
The media could not be loaded. I am an electronic engineer my self and I can see that this is a well designed product and with good quality components. Does what it needs to do and more. The battery will last longer than in the original IKEA design and the lights have two intensity settings.I was planning to do a repair action on the broken board. The previous owners must have spilled some juice on it I guess. But one component was hard to get and then I stumbled on this product. Even though the IKEA kitchen itself costs about 80 euros, I still am pleased to have invested around 33 euros (product + shipping) in this board. If I had done it myself I easily would have spended this amount of money not counting the hours it would have taken me. All in all I am very pleased. For the techy savvy amongst us, the board uses a STM32G030F6P6 microcontroller. Not the most obvious choice, but I guess the designer chose this uC because he already had experience with this uC including the code development tools. So if you fancy, you could also write your own program to add features like: Once the button is pushed the light gradually increases until the button is released again. Push it again, it switches off. Or whatever else you might think of.
