Excellent SDI to HDMI converter!
While I did not buy my Hi5 Plus from Amazon (bought it directly from AJA) I thought I would leave a review of the product. My production setup required me converting SDI signal with embedded audio from my convergent Odyssey switch to a monitor/Boxcast streaming box. I tried Blackmagic design mini converters plus another brand and they were all stripping/distorting the embedded audio. I called the guys at AJA and they recommended the Hi5 Plus. I explained how critical it was to get this unit for an upcoming production and while they do not usually sell/deliver from their office in Sacramento, they were awesome enough to work something out. Got the unit and have never been happier. The awesome thing about this converter is that you can connect to it through the USB port and program the audio/video outputs. You can also see in the program the type of signal you have coming into the box... really cool!
