Awesome design, looks great
My daughter absolutely loves this. It takes about an hour to get going so you have to remember when to turn it on. It does lots of little bubbles. Super easy to assemble. We’ve had it on every day for 1.5 months and it’s lovely. Hopefully it will stand the test of time. The design is really cool and I have never noticed it getting dangerously hot so it’s fine in a kids room

Shoddy quality and potentially dangerous
I bought this lamp as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old nephew as he wanted a calming nightlight for his room. I wish I hadn’t.The lamp gets *very* hot, very quickly. Not ideal for a child’s gift.In fact it got so hot that the bulb melted into the base and it no longer works.Just thanking god that it didn’t cause a fire or hurt anyone. Could have been a very different story.

Cheap
It's really really cheap looking.I had thought I was buying a fancy geometric lava lamp. The base was some really thin kind of metal, it was bent out of shape from postage but I managed to bend it back into a circular shape with my hands. Also the product comes in three parts, none of which are held together securely. Given the fact lava lamps need heat and its on a cheap ass base, and basically just balancing together, I worry it might be a fire/burn hazard.The base and wee cap thing have been wrapped in some sort of foil with a geometric print, it looks really really cheap, and really rough edging, nothing like the pictures and I'm a little worried that it might melt actually.I've had in on for two hours to warm up and the lava part looks really good, just a shame about the cheap frame.

Terrible quality.
The part the bulbs screws into is actually wonky so it won't go in straight. When the bulb was put in it didn't light up, until the cable was touched, then it lit for three seconds then the bulb popped and now is useless. Bought as a birthday present for today so not opened prior and apparently it only has a month's warranty (even though its not been used) and is now unreturnable. Disgusted.
