My children (5, 3 and 2) have played with them for ages every night in the bath since they arrived last week. Previously we had three fish by schleich that were about £6 per fish and the children were not that bothered about them. It seems they like the sheer number of fish in this pot as they can all fish for them and sort them, find matches etc and there are plenty to go round. I had thought these would look really cheap next to the schleich ones but they don’t. I’ve pictured one of them next to a dark blue schleich fish to compare. They seem to be made of the same type of plastic, and are sturdy and quite weighty per fish. The crabs don’t feel like their legs and pincers are going to fall off. The figures in this set are BPA free. **Q: Are these hard plastic or are they pliable? I would like to see if I can bend them enough to get into a water bottle?** A: Depends on the size of the mouth for your water bottle. If it’s a large mouthed bottle then maybe.
