To be honest, if I could give this Bible a thousand good stars, I would. I do not go to church at all, however, there was something missing within me, I swore I didn’t know what, but deep down, I knew. That’s why I went on a quest to own a Bible. After 10 years I opened a Bible again. For many years I struggled with the Bible and the term of Christianity overall, I felt that the Bible could sometimes put us ‘females’ down and even blame us for the faults of humanity. This Bible has allowed me to understand that this is simply not true. The authors of this Bible did a great job explaining every book and giving me as a female the understanding I needed to know God has loved me since before I was born, knowing I was going to be born a woman. Also, that being a female doesn’t make me weak or a sinner, It instead makes me courages, beautiful, graceful and a essential part of the army of the Lord in a more feminine approach, like in the times of Esther. So if you’re like me, looking for a 1 star review as an excuse to not get the Bible, get it. God brought you to this very hypocrite 1 star review because he wants to speak to you through your reading. If you’re new to the whole Bible thing or like me, that knows something is missing in your life and deep down you know is God but you’re not religious but Miss the word of God, Get the Bible, I mean what do you have to lose?! Also, download the ‘Daily’ app so you can get an idea on what to read on a daily because like I previously stated if you’re like me, completely lost as to what to read well then you need the training wheels. I received my Bible 4 days ago and I am very excited to start learning from the commentaries and practical application of it on my daily life. Reading through some verses a realize and confess that got a little disappointed because I found many times the pronoun “He” ( referring to God ) in lower case. I know that seems a little detail but to me it is a reason for 4 starts. - the picture show the ones I found on Romans 8:29-30 and corrected myself.

I love my Bible. I found this Bible in hardcover at the bookstore, and wanted a soft-cover one. This is exactly what I wanted. I love how it breaks everything down and explains things that would otherwise go over my head. I take this Bible with me everywhere. I'm not kidding.Yes, the commentary on this Bible is very conservative. If you are a liberal feminist looking for a liberal feminist Bible, this is not for you. That's not to say the commentary encourages women to be completely submissive. I find it more encouraging and empowering.

I love my new bible!! It’s so beautiful.

I purchased this Bible at 30 years old, after deciding it was time that I had outgrown my teen bible (that I received on my 14th birthday.) I do really like this Bible. The emphasis on women in the Bible has been great. I love the quotes and extra study notes, etc. in this version. There’s so many good things about this Bible.The only drawback I have is the limited space for note taking. If you flip through the pages of my teen Bible, you will see so many notes. I’ve even found myself copying some of them word for word into spaces in my new Bible.I’m now 8 months into a new Bible trying to decide if I should purchase one with more note taking space.I would love it if this Bible had an extra inch in the margins for notes. I’d be more than happy to pay extra for it. Everything else about this Bible is perfect.

Beautiful! I was so excited for this to arrive so I could dive in. I was looking for a bible that had those foot notes so that I could read God’s word and have a deeper understanding and just get another viewpoint really. It is gorgeous and wonderful. I love the charts and quotes throughout it. It really allows you to explore the bible further and is a guiding book. All in color and Jesus’ words are in red. So pleased with this bible!

I like the large print that is easy to read without it being huge print. The information before each chapter is interesting and does not feel like it was written for Bible scholors. The only part that I wish was different is the footnotes at the bottom of the pages. Many of the footnotes could be a little more in depth, but overall I am very pleased with this Bible and would buy it again. In fact I am thinking of buying my sister one. Do I recommend buying this version? Yes, it is a good buy and I like it.

I love this beautiful Bible from Max. Just what I've needed during the pandemic, with all his indepth and insightful sidebar writings. Just as in his books or messages online, every night i pick up and study, I come away feeling hopeful and reminded God is here, and we will get througth this. I'm finding I study the Word deeper and understand more easily what I'm being led to hear and put into action in my life. They're are so many nuggets in this Bible. I can hardly wait morning and night to get into this one!! And it's gorgeous throughout! Thanks so much Max as usual. You've been so helpful to me through the yrs in your books. And have been waiting for a new Bible that the print was large enough to read comfortably, put out by you :)

Beautifully illustrated and presented bible. The NIV version is my favourite version to read as I find it the most well-written and easy to understand. Stunning colours ,fonts and presentation.

I wanted an adult study bible to finally upgrade from my very old teen one. This really is an excellent bible. Just like the amplified bible it gives extra explanation to the scriptures in footnotes. There are case studies, character profiles, histories, quotes from female figures and very detailed logs on and in each chapter; This being because of the historians and archaeologists that contributed amongst other people. I'm so happy with this bible. If you want a deeper understanding of the word and yourself as a Christian this Bible really will help. God bless the people that compiled this.

Beautiful lay out that's appealing and makes you want to pick your bible up to read it. However, I had to return thus purchase, as the text was too small especially the study section which was in parts appearing to be 6-8 pt. Wonderful if you have no sight difficulties.
