What I thought of the mash with the ingredient!
This is a full review of what I thought of the product when it arrived. I may have gone a little over board with the ingredients but I really wanted to know what my crestie was eating. Thought you’d guys would want to know too. (Some of my research is not complete. I’m just naming a few things that each of these ingredients do for the health of a gecko).Ingredients:- dried banana- dried papaya- rice bran- micellar casein (protein used to help with growth and maintain muscle mass).- whey protein isolate (protein that provides optimal growth and development).- dried egg- Di-calcium phosphate (helps maintain calcium in the body).- lecithin (helps prevent the separation of two ingredients from mixing)- algae meal- potassium sorbate (inhibits the growth of mold).- xanthan gum (thicken, emulsify, and stabilizes water-based foods).fermentation extractions:- dried aspergilus niger (use to increase the production of amino acids, enzymes such as amylases, pectinases, and proteases).- dried aspergilus oryzae (used to increase production of the highest levels of fungal alpha-amylase).- dried bifidobacterium bifidum (special bacteria used to help the body digest foods and fight off harmful bacteria).- dried lactobacillus acidophilus (helps support a healthy digestion by producing lactic acid).- mixed tocopherols (vitamin E. Mixture of vitamin E based material).- choline chloride (vitamin B4. Aimed to support animal growth).- sodium chloride (salt has lots of uses! Main: allows absorption antibiotics, antifungals or anthelmintics. Aids in treatment for parasites, fungal, and bacterial infections. It also is known to help decrease stress and Osmoregulatory stress disease).- ferrous fumarate (used to supplement(increase) iron intake).- beta carotene (vitamin A. Helps aid the small intestine. Also, aid immune function, possibly vision, and aids multiple organs in the body).- inositol (vitamin B. Dietary supplement).- niacin (vitamin B-3. Dietary supplement).- kelp meal (lots of uses! Helps boost immune system, digestion support, provides healthy skin. Contains 55+ different vitamins, many kinds of minerals and amino acids).- ascorbic acid (vitamin C. Dietary supplement. Used for multiple functions, supporting the immune system being one).- cholecalciferol (vitamin D3. Use to promote bone health, maintaining calcium levels, as well as growth development).- riboflavin (vitamin B2 (helps with metabolic function))- thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1. Dietary supplement and medication).- vitamin A (see beta carotene. I bet there is more to what is provided for our reptiles but it’s hard to pick which one!).- pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6. Used to treat disorders, diseases, and infections).- biotin (vitamin H. Supplements fatty acids and glucose).- folic acid (vitamin B9. Use as a dietary supplement and food fortification. Also helps the body with DNA and RNA).- sulfur (aids and supports amino acids).- zinc oxide (helps aids the body of different hormones including glucose, insulin, growth and sex hormone).- vitamin B12 (basically this vitamin is involved in the metabolism of every cell in an animals body. It has so many functions, im not going to name them all. It is generated in the intestine. Without it, a reptile may experience slow growth, dystrophy in the legs, along with an increase in mortality).Very interesting what I found! My crested gecko LOVED the papaya flavored mash. Now, all crested geckos are different so don’t complain that “my crested gecko won’t eat it!”Probably not his/her cup of tea! That’s okay!Over all, the ingredients, with the strong smell is definitely alluring. It also can be refrigerated to last longer! I recommend you give this flavor a go!

My lizard loves this!
Use it to feed my wife’s lizard. Spoon full of the powder and equal parts water makes a good paste that my wife’s lizard likes. Good price and lasts a while. I have been feeding this to my lizard for years, sheds his coat regularly and has been healthy! Will continue to buy the different fruit powders this company has to offer!

Good quality and gecko seems to like the flavor
We like this brand and we decided to try the papaya flavor. He normally will only eat watermelon flavor, so this was a trialThankfully, he is eating a little bit and seems to be okay with it. We also the bought the red bag that has insects in it. He did not like it one bit and will not eat it at all. I recommend this brand and just know what you're gecko likes.

He loves it!
My Crested Gecko, Rafiki Hickey Hoffman loves this food and any of the flavors that come in the bag. He will graze on the Repashi black bottle available at petco/petsmart, but this brand he will gobble up his whole dish. it smells like actual fruit. Like baby food bananas or something which is what food is supposed to smell like. They obviously enjoy food that smells more delicious. Ive ordered a certain flavor and received a different one, but no big deal because he likes them all and my selected flavor may have been out of stock.
