Is this any different than denture cleaner?

I can only answer this as yes but I don’t know why - my appliance dentist for retainer and sleep apnea retainer was specifically clear not to use denture cleaner for retainers - I’m not sure if this would work for dentures but it’s fantastic for retainers - drop in no more than 15 minutes (I set a timer for 13 minutes) and it works great!

It is not recommended that any retainer containing metal, like a Hawley-style retainer, be left for more than 15 minutes as that can damage the retainer. If it has no metal, your instructions may differ. I think the box also says 15 min is sufficient.
