These are so waxy it doesnt even feel like a graphite stick. I bought it cause it was cheap but now i cant even use it. It melts by just my body temperature. Just spend the extra cash cause this is not worth it

Value for money and extremely efficacious. Previously I ordered compressed charcoal sticks, not knowing that they would be really hard on regular paper, and then I found these on amazon. Good flow, works even on the thinnest newsprint and pragmatic if you run out of graphite pretty quickly! Also they were packaged in thick layers, so luckily received them intact.

It's a perfect thing to understand the values and shades and the way it works with water is just amazing... And because it's water soluble do not try this on a regular paper.. get the water color paper and you can have some amazing experience playing with this product.
