Worst so-called "tumbling media" I have ever seen
I have been doing the rock tumbling hobby for many years, tumbling mostly obsidian using tumbling media. Tumbling media "wears out" (the bits naturally just get smaller and smaller as they are repeatedly tumbled). Since it was time to get some new ceramic tumbling media, I ordered this.I ordered this because it seemed to have some good reviews, and was advertised as [quote] "Non-Abrasive Ceramic Pellets". Yeah, right. Take a look at the photo of the pellets, and note all of the broken, jagged edges on most the pellets. I did not "cherry pick" these pellets, but just grabbed a random handfull out of the bag and put them on a dark cloth so that the defects could more easily be seen. Put pellets like this into a tumbler of obsidian for a few days and you will likely get obsidian so badly scratched the only thing to do would be to toss the whole batch (pellets included) and start over with some better quality pellets. Also, these pellets don't look like ceramic, they look (and smell) like chalk, of the blackboard variety.ADDITIONALLY the zip-lock bag containing the pellets had come open, presumably during shipping (how hard can it be to put these inside a second plastic bag, or even just put an inch or so of tape across the top of the zip-lock part to be sure it stays closed)?I had ordered three paperback books at the same time, the books and the (alleged) tumbling media all came in the same box, so my books were all "well tumbled" during shipping. I mean, who needs their books covered with dents and ceramic tumbling dust? And, oh yes, ceramic tumbling media of good quality should NEVER come covered with dust. Dust indicates that the pellets are decomposing even as they bump together in the bag, even BEFORE they are ever put into a tumbler. This package is being returned, although I HATE doing returns. What a MAJOR pain.

Much easier to use than the poly pellets!
Used these ceramic media for the first time on a polish cycle for sunstones and was very satisfied with the end result. They are easy to separate from small, polished stones for re-use. They do not scratch larger stones. Wish I'd used these on earlier batches of rocks!

Good for tumbling sea glass
As described, did the job. I use a rock tumbler to make faux sea glass. This works perfect as a filler.

adequate product
Even thought I only received 80% of my product, what I did receive worked o.k. Since I have no idea how the other20% would have worked I am only giving 2 stars. I will not be ordering from SACKORANGE again due to not receiving what I paid for.

Shaped to do the job
I like the shape, it looks like it can knock grit out of cracks during burnish.
