Bought to replace the cable that came with my Sennheiser HD 4.50BTNC, which was destroyed in a freak vacuum cleaner accident. I'm so glad I got this one instead of a direct replacement, because it's a huge upgrade.- Braided cable is far more durable- Metal ends are very durable and premium feeling- Spring protector on the 3.5mm end- Grips etched into the smaller end for easy turning- Choice of cord lengths is appreciatedI can't fathom a way to improve upon this cable, it's excellent!

I went on Amazon looking for a replacement Cable for my Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC because I broke the original cable. They sound soooo much better when wired to a proper DAC than over Bluetooth.Let me start by saying this: this cable is wayyyyy over-engineered for what I need. In a good way.BUILDBoth ends seem to be 100% metal. The cable itself is a rubberized red cable with a black nylon(?) mesh surrounding it. Feels very high-end and professional. Both ends of the cable can be screwed, and one end comes with an amp plug. Useful to play guitar in silence.STRAIN RELIEFThe strain reliefs are actual springs. This is high quality stuff, except for the glue I found under one of the springs. Nitpick.FITThe cable fits perfectly and solidly into my headphones with no jiggle room.Overall, this cable is much, much better than what I expected, much better than the stock cable anyway!

When I first got this cable I thought it looked like a really solid cable, the braiding was high quality and seemed durable and the end pieces fit fine into my headphones. And initially it worked perfectly fine. But after 5 days of use audio only comes out of the right side of my headphones and the only way to get it to come out of the left is to shove it in really hard but it constantly loses connection. Maybe it's something I did to mess it up somehow, but I've only been using this casually at my computer so I don't know if that's possible.It seems the more you take it out and plug it back in the more interference there is and the less it works.

PRO: Makes my wireless Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC compatible with PS4 controller. Sound quality is very good. Very robust and well made. HUGE CON: The cable is not shielded and you can hear noise in your ear every time the cable rubs against anything. Very annoying. Solution: Don't move a muscle while gaming. Warning: Does not work when your puppy jumps up on the couch to lick your face. END RESULT: While this cable does work as intended for now, unfortunately I'm going to have to try and find my original cable that came with my headphones that's lost inside my house somewhere. Wish me luck!

I bought this "upgrade" cable to solve a specific problem. the cable supplied with my Sennheiser HD 400S has a one button remote and microphone built in which works fine with portable devices but plugging into my hifi resulted in degraded sound. this cable resolved the problem completely. i initially thought it didnt work with my headphones after i plugged the ear piece in as it was not specifically listed as working with the HD400S. however an extra push after twisting clicked the cable securely into place and it all works fine and i dont have to worry about the cable dropping out as it comes with the same connector as the original .
