I purchased it 2 months ago; so can't answer that question with any assurance. I will say this - it seems to be very heavily plated; and because of that, I don't expect it to tarnish anytime soon. I do take care of all my jewelry though, fine or otherwise; and take it off when doing household chores. By doing this, even my costume jewelry lasts a long time without tarnishing. Hope this helps.

Hi, its not faded & we hv had it quite a while. The oy negative is the fake diamonds started to fall out 2nd wear and its really fake looking in person. More like a mans fashion jewelry, not truly for long REAL jewelry type wear. Good luck & God bless. T
