Taste great and volume is satisfying while being low in sugar

Usually protein bars with 30g+ protein are super dense and chewy (quest bars for example, horrible) - these are soft, textural, and have a great flavor for a protein bar. For an active body builder, the calories aren’t too much, you get healthy fats, and frickin 32g protein. Protein products are usually sold at a premium being a specific sort of product so my only critique would be eventually lowering the price point a little. One day I’d hope to see these everywhere in the world instead of Taco Bell’s and bulls*** like that

I've tried a lot of their bars. Not sure where the "Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch" bar went, but in my opinion, was their best, so figured I'd try this one. What a complete waist of money. Taste is terrible. When you think of the worst tasting high protein bar you have had... this is worse. I ordered one box and mine was stamped as "sold as a set", so they aren't providing the retail version of what I paid for either.

As stated, if you remember the Detour bars from like 2001 to 2003 before they got sued over something, these will bring back memories. No, they're not as good as the ones from back then, but I doubt that they lie on the labels like back then either. This flavor is great, if you're accustomed to protein bars then you know how bad they can get, like say MetRx 100 bars. Easier to eat chalk. These new Detours though? Good, not gritty or sawdusty, just good. I'll buy them again, and I've been buying protein bars for the past 30 years. Detour still has it!

I have had the Detour protein bars before, but these are larger than the ones that I had, and sometimes just a half of one will be all I want to eat.The flavor is absolutely delicious, they are easy to chew (important if you are a senior or have dentures), and are a quick way to make sure you are getting enough protein.
