Velocifire VM90 RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard for Mac (Black Switches)

This is a great keyboard! But I switched from blue Outemu Blue Switches to Kailh Black and they feel weird. I absolutely love the lighting though. The wrist rest is also something I am not used to but I am used to it now and I basically love everything about the keyboard. One thing about the black switches is that they are quiet which is one of the reasons why I wanted to switch to them. The switches are kind of stiff and also requires more force to click, but I won't get rid of a star because of that.I noticed that the lighting profiles that you can make might have a problem; I was deciding what color a to make a key and after a few seconds maybe I don't remember, but I shut off and went to the default lighting. I am not sure if that is a problem for other people, but it was kind of a problem for me because I was still trying to decide the colors. The FN function key cannot be changed to any color during the custom profile setting. That will still not take off one star because there are still so many lighting effects. I also liked how you can get a software for this keyboard. The keyboard is also a very solid build and after a while I enjoy typing on it, but since I said that the keys are a little stiff and require more force to click, it may be hard for people to type because people may think that they have clicked the key, but might have not. That mainly concludes my review. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone who wants a mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting, wrist rest, software, and Blue or Black Kailh Switches that comes to a decent affordable price, but if you cannot afford it I would go for something like the E-Element RGB Mechanical keyboard since it is pretty similar to this one.

The lighting on the keyboard is not lower-ended at all and the program-ability function via keyboard or driver is easy to use and has an intuitive and an easy way to programming the keys how you want them.2. The keys feel a tad soft if you haven't had a chance to get a feel for yourself but they are amazing at FPS games and RTS games.3. This keyboard isn't too big nor too small and they key alignments feel fine.4. The only thing I think they could work on for this keyboard is to be able to buy different key caps for WASD keys or if they have please link!

Great purchase. The keys are responsive, feel pretty durable. I have a mac and it works well with that. Only thing is, you have to figure out some of the keys which map to the volume / brightness. Also the windows/command key is only on one side (since the other side has the velocifire function key.)Other than that this keyboard is really good. The wire is high quality, the USB passthrough works just as expected, and works with anything you plug in. Also, the macros to make your own coloring scheme is dope.

Its a great key board and an excellent RGB backlight system. Only two complaints.1. When you have an effect on, you can't have separate static keys. So if you want the rainbow effect on all the time but you want the keys like WASD keys to just shine a certain color so they stand out more, you can't.2.The software is kinda pointless. All of the key light changed can be done mechanically with the programed keys directly on the keyboard. The only reason you would ever use the program if to set your own gaming programed keys.

Awesome mechanical Keyboard! This is actually my second Velocifire keyboard (I bought my wife the T11). It has customize-able color coded keys. It makes it fun for when I play FPS games.

I've used this keyboard for about three months. So far, I've had no problems with its performance, and it is comfortable to use. I have mostly left the lights on a solid colour, to light up according to the 'breathing' option, and it looks great. However I have not tried anything too fancy with the lights as of yet.I'm happy with this purchase.

Great keyboard... very responsive and good clicking sound. Switches don't sound like the cherry mx but they are really good. Build quality is excellent, the color profiles are really bright and the cable looks really long lasting.
