Clakit was conceived while hiking in the California mountains and realizing that everything was on our backs - even items needed often. When you needed to access something, you have to stop, remove your pack, search for the item(s) and then repack. Either that or stop and ask the person behind you to rustle through your bag. Whether its water, radio, smartphone, map, wallet, snack, or permits - everything seemed to be inconveniently located. Clakit shifts the storage from your back to the front of your body. This makes the often-used items more accessible as well as secure from theft.

Almost great
Other than needing two hands to store either the phone or a water bottle I like both pouches. If they had a little more rigidity in design to allow a one handed stow they would be perfect. They attach very well to my osprey straps.

too small to be useful
This is a clever and potentially useful system, but I found both the pocket and the water bottle holder to be too small for my needs. I returned them. The clip is strong and holds well and provides a secure anchor for the various devices designed for this system, but I'd recommend larger pockets and bottle holders, especially for anyone who may be considering using this system to hold a small zoom lens, as I was. Having immediate access to a second lens is something that many photographers need, especially those of us who take a lot of photographs while hiking. But even if you're intending to use this to hold a water bottle, get the larger size as the amount of water contained within the bottle held by this item would be too little to be of much benefit. Great idea, but the sizes are just too small to be useful for anyone hiking or biking and better alternatives exist.

What bottles does it fit? Answer below
This is a great product that I've been looking around for a while. The phone pocket fits 3" x 6" phone and has some room to spare. The mesh pocket will not fit any 1L bottle I've tried, but is perfect for 750ml or smaller. I'm using Smartwater bottles (same size as Life Water). The Essentia bottles fit but are a bit too snug. Again, great product, wish I bought it years ago.

Does its job well
Love the quality and durability, if i could change one thing it would be some how to adjust the angle as I like to attach to my shoulder strap and the (straps on the straps?!) Or the loops are also vertically sewn.

Bad clip design
I wanted to like it, especially the phone pouch. But the clip design is just ridiculously big, clunky and unwieldy.I’ve got 3 packs, not one would the clips attach it well, securely or comfortably
