Extra Thick 60pcs Pegboard Accessories Organizer Kit | 1/4 Inch Peg Board Attachments | Peg Board Hook Set and Pegboard Basket Set for Tools - Heavy Duty - Does Not Fall Out Off The Board

It's difficult if not impossible to find a good 1/4 pegboard kit at any retail store where I live. I can't stand using smaller pegs in 1/4'' board and then having to use those plastic clips to hold them in place. Finding this kit seemed to be the perfect product to meet my needs. The material used is thick and sturdy as advertised. However, in my kit I received numerous pegs with very crooked welds and the 6 slot multi tool rack was bent too. In all my years buying cheapo peg board accessories I have never seen one, let alone over half a dozen dozen or more crooked pegs in one kit. MADD TOOLS sent a brochure with my package stating why their pegs are best and one reason they is give for being the best is "Manufacturing Consistency". I think they should either remove this claim from the brochure or get much better quality control. I expected better, especially considering the price.

So....these things are indeed very sturdy and fit snugly into a pegboard wall. But there were 2 issues...(#1) - Some of the posts/tangs were not uniform.....when you put them all into the board side-by-side, there were 3-4 in there that were noticeably sticking out at a different angle than the others. And given that they ARE indeed very sturdy, it's dang near impossible to bend them by hand. And I'm not sure if trying to bend them into position with a vice or other tools might break the weld? So ultimately I have a few that look a bit non-uniform, so they got pushed aside and are unused.(#2) - I only received 16 of the rubber safety tips. After doing a count, that leaves me with 25 posts/tangs (whatever the correct terminology) that are bare-ended with no rubber tips. Not sure if this is intended or not, but it certainly takes away from the overall uniformity.An added note.....the baskets were not an initial selling point for me, but since I've had them they have turned out to be quite useful.

These are STANDARD size (these days) 1/4" pegboard hooks.Used to be you got either small size for small holes, or nice beefy ones for a true 1/4" fit.Sure wish I had bought a lot of the ACTUAL thick ones 10 years ago.I have been taking my "actual thick "samples to hardware stores to try to find hooks that are notloose in the holes, since I have built new pegboard areas.All of the current hooks available are just a tad "skinnier" and therefore looser.Having no luck finding "actually thick" hooks in stores, I read the description of these hooksand even though they were pricey, thought if they truly were "extra thick" I wouldbe happy to pay the extra cost.Well, THEY ARE NOT extra thick.They are EXACTLY LIKE the size of what is available in any hardware department.BUT WHAT IS DIFFERENT: they are very lightweight.So light, that holding them you get the feeling they are made of almost a plastic.I feel like its a bad joke, and the people writing the description either do notunderstand these are regular size hooks, or think their description will fool people.I am returning these, as I am disgusted.

I couldn't be happier with this product. On the surface of things it appears these are a lot more expensive than other pegboard hooks. Not so however, for one thing these are made to fit specifically in 1/4 inch peg board holes. That makes them much sturdier than other hooks. Also this set came with three metal baskets of different sizes. I recently purchased three baskets of the same sizes from a different vendor. I gave @ $11 for those and these are at least as well made and hang straighter on the pegboard. So if you consider that, the price of the rest of this set is competitive with other brands. As for quality, these are well made and fit the holes snugly, no wiggle, no coming loose. They also came with some spacers to help the baskets hang straight if necessary, but i didn't need them. All in all you can't go wrong with this set if you have 1/4 inch pegboard. I can't see how you could use them with 1/8 inch without a lot of manipulation. I would gladly order another set of these.

I recently picked up a pair of 2'H x 4'W pegboard for organizing my tools and other related items in the basement, and I picked up this set to use with it. There are a lot of pieces, of various sizes and shapes, so this set is excellent for when you're starting with an empty pegboard!If I had a complaint, it would be that I would have preferred if it had more of certain pieces (like the ring tool holders) and less of some of the others... but that's something that will be quite subjective from person to person, and it's a fairly minor gripe considering the total amount, quality, and value of this kit, so it's not even something I'd reduce the rating of this over.(The first set I received had a couple of pieces that were broken and a few pieces that were crooked or didn't fit the pegs correctly... but I emailed the seller and they replaced immediately, with expedited shipping. The replacement set was flawless, so I must have just gotten an unlucky batch.)
