EastVita New Charger Dock + 4 x Battery for Nintendo Wii Remote

After allowing my Wii to become dormant for several months, I was sad to see that my previous rechargeable batteries have died completely. I could not find new batteries to would work with my existing charger. This one works great, I just wish it could plug into the wall instead of the Wii. Don't forget the switch on the back of the dock, if this is not on, it will not charge the batteries.

Love it! My one and only gripe is the packs themselves only ever show as half charged and will drain within about an hour of heavy use, light use like using youtube and turning them off will yeild much more time. If you have four remotes like me you might consider buying two of these that way all remotes can be charging at once (like in the picture) and you always have a spair for each remote then these could probably go all day just swapping batterie packs. All in all well worth the price and will be buying a second as I mentioned.

THE PROS: Really like the dock. the blue light gives it a nice look, I like the individual indicators to see that its charged.THE CONS: You can tell its cheaply made. The battery packs are mounted to the battery door/cover. This works against functionality in two ways. First the door is really hard to put on and take off. Second it doesn't seem to sit flush with the wimote. Battery life is long enough for me and my friends to play until we are bored (maybe a couple hours on full charge WITHOUT RUMBLE).CONCLUSION: For the price I am satisfied but not impressed.

So when finding this product on Amazon I was very skeptical that it really was what it claimed. As the other post stated, it seemed "too good to be true". Bottom line is everything arrived and I'm pleasantly surprised. I purchased this because two of our rechargeable packs died and would no longer recharge. To replace just one battery pack was going to cost at least $10 and so when I found this all together for only $12 plus my free shipping for being a Prime member, it was perfect. I will admit it is slightly annoying how the remotes have to be in just the right position to charge, however, in my opinion, it is a very small price to pay LITERALLY for what this setup cost me. The other charger we had was the exact same way, temperamental about the remotes being placed in it just right but we dealt with it with little issue. My kids are 7 and 12 and knew you weren't done putting the remotes up unless the light indicated they were charged so again this really isn't a concern I had.Someone else stated in their comment about how they didn't like that you couldn't have your casing, skin-like cover on your remote while they were charging. I have yet to find any remote charger that allows you the ability to charge with those remote covers on so if someone else did I would sure be interested in knowing that.Bottom line, for the deal these are I feel it was a good investment and a great savings considering I would have easily paid twice this amount just to replace two battery packs. So, take it all into consideration and make the choice for yourself. I for one and happy with my purchase and extremely pleased with saving the money I did.

So far the batteries hold a charge well, the charger will have a red light when the battery is charging, However it wont quite be fully charged unless it sits there all night, but the red light wont be on.some complained that placing the 2nd or 3rd remote in the charger may disturb the charging alignment of the 1st or 2nd remote already charging, this wasn't a problem for me.

After having a charger dock w/rechargeable batteries for over 5 years (different brand), I was disappointed when it finally no longer worked for fear of the cost of finding another of same or better quality. It's only been a week but so far, so good. The cost was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Wii remotes seem to eat batteries so when I think of the money I've save using the charger docks, they're well worth it. At the cost of this one, it's a no-brainer to purchase. REMEMBER TO TURN ON THE LITTLE SWITCH ON THE BACK!! It's very small and I was ready to return it, thinking the dock was not working when I spotted the tiny switch then remembered reading this very thing in another review of this item. I love the color of the base and the colors when charging. I'm tempted to order another to put aside for hopefully years down the road when this one eventually dies. One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon!!! Again, the cost is unbelievable. I found exact items, different brands and sellers, for over $100.

Ridiculously cheap - not worth the purchase, or the return.For 11 bucks, you don't even get what you pay for. The quality is terrible, the circuitry didn't work (only two of the dock posts worked).the battery cover that comes with these to replace the wiimote covers didn't fit any of the controllers. you practically had to pry them on to connect.Also, I didn't notice until I bought it, but it plugs into USB on the Wii, so it only charges at 5V/1Amp. This means that you are trickle charging the wiimotes, and that would take forEVER.

These battery packs worked perfectly on our old Wii remotes. Love that they stay charged between uses. You know when they're done charging as the red light in front of each remote goes out. Can turn the switch off in back, or it makes a pretty cool nightlight, even when the Wii isn't on. I love it.**UPDATE** stopped working after a year....lights still look like it's working, but the rechargeable batteries it came with aren't being charged....not worth it, better off buying rechargeable AA batteries and save the headaches.

Very positional cheap is not always good!

I believe there is a short some where, cause not all the lights come on when "changing"and NOT all remote get charge :-( Great idea.. but not a good product.
