Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep a 6 yr old from picking at bumps and things on their skin?! Try doing it for a year and a half. My son had Muscollum. Doctor said leave it alone and it will go away in its own...BUT it could take a year or two to completely go away. Greeeeeat. :/A year and a half goes by and I happened to be sitting next to a couple moms and one mentioned this Thuja oil she used for a wart on her kid’s foot. I did a little research and read that people had found it to be useful for Muscollum as well. I admit I was skeptical (my husband even more so). I bought it and just sort of left it there while I figured out if this was going to make it worse or better, burn my kid or scar him.... I finally I decided to try it. I started with the big one on his back. (No one would really see it if it left a scar right?!) I was prepared with the wet paper towels in case it burned him (hey, you never know.) Meanwhile, my husband is sitting there saying “are you sure about this stuff? The doc said leave it alone.” In my absolutely- sure-of-myself voice: “Yes. I did my research. It works.” In my head: “Please don’t make it worse! Please don’t burn. Please let this work!”First bump done. No complaints from little man. (Doesn’t smell great. But not horrible. It is pretty strong though.) So I kept going... covered the remaining bumps inn his arms, neck, chin, legs... a little dab’l do ya!We applied his “special oil” for a few days, twice a day. (I had read that others had applied the oil 3X a day for a few weeks or even months.) But, then life happened. And after those first few days I forgot to apply his oil. A week or two goes by and he reminded me that we hadn’t done his bumps in a long time. so I got the oil out, he took off his shirt and then we looked.... some were completely gone! No sign at all. Others were still crusting over. Within days those were gone too.Now, I’m not going to sit here and say this stuff will clear up all your Muscollum with only three days of application and in just 2-3 weeks. I’m just sayin’ it was a Christmas miracle for me.

I bought this product because my new dog started developing a growth on her lower lip. It was pink and cauliflower-looking. It was getting larger every day and I was concerned about needing to take her to the vet to have it removed. I had a previous dog develop a growth in the gum of his upper jaw and the vet told me that it could be cancerous but he wouldn't know unless he removed it and had it biopsied. And in his opinion it was better to treat it as if it was cancerous so he removed a significant portion of my dog's jaw in the process, just to be sure. Then my dog, who had been healthy except for this growth, died as a result of infection from the surgery. This was 20 years ago.So with my new dog I was hesitant to consult the vet (not the one that killed my other dog) because I was reading of people getting the same advice from vets wanting to operate first. Thuja came up as a solution from many internet searches. It didn't work in every case I read about but it worked enough of the time that I thought it was worth a try. It would cost less than a vet visit and I'm used to using herbal remedies. So I ordered the small bottle and used a Q-tip to apply it to Kila's growth twice a day. It does have a strong smell and I imagine it doesn't taste great, but she never ran away when it was time to apply it and she hides when it's time to brush her so that speaks to it being tolerable. At the beginning the wart was as big as the end of my pinky finger and getting bigger every day. After just a few days of application I could tell it was getting smaller. After 2 weeks it was practically gone. I just inspected it now and it is so small I can't see it but I can still feel it with my fingernail, just the tiniest of bumps.I am so happy I tried this product for my dog's oral wart. I would recommend anyone try this first if their dog is exhibiting a cauliflower-textured growth around their mouth. Of course, it may not work for your dog's problem but it is an inexpensive and safe step to try first.

In the words of my fiance, what is this sorcery?!Our puppy had a wart on his head. Someone recommended Thuja as a topical treatment. We were skeptical (we are well educated believers in the scientific method and that correlation does not imply causation).However, for $10 we figured what the heck and went for it. Literally 2 hours after the first application, the wart turned black and deflated. This morning (1 day later), it's basically gone, just some crusty scabs left. We will continue to apply the Thuja until it's completely resolved.Was Thuja the answer? Maybe... It's possible the wart was going to die yesterday anyway (we weren't quite sure how long it had been there. Puppy is very fluffy, so it was hard to find in the first place). But, I'm fine sharing some anecdotal evidence for you that Thuja doesn't hurt the situation.Knocking off a star because there are no instructions on use (if it's helpful, we have been applying the Thuja to our puppy's head twice a day. We didn't receive a dropper, but we're probably administering 1-2 drops).I'm not sure why there are so many reviews about ingesting this product. The label information is very limited, but it does explicitly say it shouldn't be consumed.

I had multiple periungual warts on both thumbs for 10 years. I saw 3 dermatologists and had them burned, frozen and injected. Nothing worked. The only advice I was given was to use salicytic acid or to ignore them. The acid burned my thumbs raw and made them painful and unsightly. That was 3 weeks ago. For the first time in 10 years the wars are totally cleared. The first 10 days of treatment my thumbs looked horrible. The skin (warts) peeled all around my entire thumb and the shin turned dark red. At times, I could actually feel a wart below the skin trying to erupt. Eventually it would. Then the skin would peel, dry up and turn healthy. I never thought I would ever get rid of these warts but Thuja cleared them so fast I could not believe it. I'm going to keep using the products for several months to be sure the virus is completely cured but there is no sign of them at all.

I got this for my small dog to treat a few small benign "Old lady" growths that she has. It has a very strong scent, but it's not unpleasant. It shrinks the growth pretty well. It must irritate her because she scratches the areas and If I don't watch her, she scratches and the areas bleed.
