What's the best way to apply this? On damp or dry hair?

Applying on dry hair has the best hold for me. On damp hair, it will give it a wet look but the hold isn't the best.

Does it smell as good as the shine wax? And What difference is there between this one and the shine wax product?

Smells good, doesn’t give you a stiff look on uou hair. Actually looks natural spike led up. Didn’t like the other shine wax products, because they leave your hair very stiff/plastic looking
