Air Spencer(000600 CS-X3 Lime Scent Air Freshener Refill

I purchased this for a friend that LOVES smell good things; her home has like 20 potpourri bowls. So, since she is a `smell good' pro, I researched the web for quite a while reading reviews from several sites and this product had the overall best reviews.The smell of Squash, in the version I bought her, was a nice citrus smell that most everyone will enjoy. It was almost overwhelmingly strong its first few days. I got into her car again after 2 weeks, then again after 6 weeks and it was still working. I saw a few reviews about it not lasting long... THIS IS NOT TRUE... I can only assume 1 of 2 issues.1) The smell gets lost in smell memory since it does have a powerful fragrance. Like how garbage men or tar roofers no longer smell the odors, the people who purchase the item lose their ability to smell the product. My friend did comment how she could not smell the fragrance anymore after about 2 weeks in her daily use of her car, but I could when I rode with her intermittently. Or 2) they do not put the item in its case. This I assume would cause more air to get to product thus `drying' it out faster than intended.I just ordered this set with case and refills of the other 3 fragrances for myself since it worked so well for her.

The best way I can describe the smell is that this makes my car smell like a men's room. Maybe like one of those men's urinal cakes? Not great! Stick to either squash, or one of the other scents.

Great air freshener but they dont last very long. Its like car crack, you get addicted to the smell and you have to have it so you keep buying them.

Hubby and I have used the squash many many years and love it. Decide to try something new. you know, get out of our comfort zone, explore life, smell new scents, all that jazz.it was ok when i first put it in. But after a week it smelled like rotten, putrid, landfill grade garbage.It actually took us awhile to figure out that THIS is what we were smelling - i turned the van inside out thinking the kids had left a bag of food or something equally as heinous in the back, or some fruits from the farmers market had gotten left behind or SOMETHING.hubby was the one who finally determined the source of the offending odor.we could not get it out of the car fast enough!back to squash for us. 'new stuff' is overrated! :P

Smells great but didn't last to long. The squash is the best scent, and the orange vanilla one.

It doesn't last a long time but the scent is awesome. I don't know why people are complaining about this "lime" scent. It's my favorite. To each their own...

I have been a loyal squash fan for a while now and after reading the reviews, I decided to switch to lime. I am not disappointed. I love the scent, almost like an extreme version of what a lemon lime soda would smell like.

After having used squash for almost a year, this was my first purchase of lime. It gave a real headache for the first few days as this is really intense and i would prefer squash over anything else.
