AOC G2460PF 24” Gaming Monitor, FreeSync, FHD (1920x1080), TN Panel, 144Hz, 1ms, Height Adjustable, DisplayPort, HDMI, USB

This monitor does its job and it does it well. I was in the market for an affordable, 144hz monitor and this was the second one that I tried, after the Acer GN246HL. While the Acer was a bit cheaper, it has no displayport input and can achieve 144hz refresh rate with only a dual-link DVI-D input. Beyond that, the colors were not as sharp and the resolution itself seemed worse in my experience (although technically both should be the same at 1920x1080). I returned the Acer monitor and swapped it out for this one and couldn't be happier. The displayport is very nice and works without a hitch going from the miniDP output on my laptop (note: no miniDP to Displayport cable is included and should be purchased separately -- but these are cheap and readily available). The stand is nice and easily adjustable, and highly mobile to boot. As a plus, the USB hub on the monitor is very nice for charging phones, etc.As far as the color quality of the picture, I can't complain at all. I read some reviews that the color quality was poor and needed to be adjusted by uploading a specific color-profile. Immediately out of the box, I went into the display settings and switched from the default to the NVidia color profile and the results are satisfactory, colors are sharp and not washed out at all.This is a great monitor for its price-point and I highly recommend it.

This monitor leveled up my gaming skills for sure. I went from gaming on a tv to using this monitor, and I could instantly tell a difference in my gameplay. The response time of 144hz is perfect for shooter games like call of duty or apex. Its 1080p, but the screen still looks high def.I used this for my xbox one and now use it for my pc, and it does great!! Overall a 5/5 from me!

TDLR: That this is one of the cheapest 144 Hz monitors does mean it will not be good at most things, but will do well for fast-paced gaming. I owned this item for over a year, so you should find typical issues below.Before color and contrast corrections, my monitor color replication was off enough to be noticeable and distracting even while gaming. After color and contrast corrections (2 hours of effort), this monitor can be described as having between okay and decent color reproduction. This is one of the trade-offs for the price. If you are interested I set the following first before doing further corrections in Windows software: Contrast: 35, Brightness: 10, Gamma: Gamma3, Overdrive: Medium, Red: 48, Green: 50, Blue: 38. YMMV as every device is slightly different, but hopefully this is a good baseline.The screen has no stuck pixels after a year. Max brightness can be extreme for this monitor (hence why I've set a brightness value of 10 above). Min brightness is significant if in a dark room, but I have managed to offset this by using f.lux's brightness change function (alt+page down, this is a monitor color and brightness software). Finally, there is a visible change in white saturation when going from this monitor's 60 Hz setting to 144 Hz. For more beauty oriented games (i.e. Skyrim) I recommend swapping to the 60 Hz mode, as low input lag is not really necessary for that game and the color enhancement is significant.The 144 Hz aspect is obviously working and working well. Doing the UFO test yielded significantly stable frame rate with low to no jitter. Another obvious test, especially if you have a second monitor that is 60 Hz, is viewing the tail of your mouse cursor when moving quickly. Leveraging this in game has, in my opinion, significantly improved the ease of aiming for hitscan weapons (flicks and tracking), but this is expected for all high frequency monitors.Now the problems section. The software for this monitor is buggy, and there appear to be some charge build up problems sometimes. The software bug manifests as the monitor continually seeking for a signal instead of shutting down/ entering power saving mode when your computer is turned off. This manifests as long periods of displaying black followed by a few seconds of bright white light from the "No Signal" notice. Because of this, if your gaming setup is in the same room as where you sleep, you will need to flip the power switch off. The charge build up issue manifests as the allowed frequency that the monitor can be driven at. This issue appears after playing for large periods of time (4+ hours) at 144 Hz. After turning off your computer and turning it on again, without turning off the monitor, the monitor will not allow a 144 Hz display port signal ("No Signal" will be displayed), but will respond to a 60 Hz signal. The reason I believe this to be charge build up is that flipping the monitors power switch to off while still plugged in will resolve the issue within 30 minutes. However, flipping the switch and disconnecting the power cable will cause the issue to last far longer (greater than 4 hours), which points to the charge build up not having an easy way to dissipate due to no ground connection. It can be said that the fix for the software glitch also resolves the hardware problem.Despite the above issues, I still believe this is a great entry level 144 Hz monitor given the price.

Build quality- The build quality is surprisingly good for the price. I see a lot of cheaper end monitors have great displays but sacrifice a lot in build quality in order to maintain a reasonable price. Luckily that's not the case here. The stand is nice and sturdy and the hight/angle adjustment is solid and feels great. The bezels aren't the smallest but they are definitively small enough for me. I love the design as well, the brushed plastic looks great and the little splash of red makes it look like a gaming monitor without being to flashy. Very well done there.Color quality- Honestly in reading about tn monitors I was very worried that the the colors would be totally washed out and that my viewing angles would be awful. I was pretty happy this wasn't the case. The colors seemed great to me and I really think the only time you'd notice the lack of color quality would be if it was side by side with an ips. Other wise they look great. The viewing angles are good too. But I'd also note that I use this for computer gaming. I am directly in front of the screen 99% of time I use this so bad viewing angles are not a draw back to me.144 hz freesync- I'm currently in the process of updating my Gpu at the moment so Ill update this portion when I get the hardware to take full advantage of these.Why I chose this monitor- I wanted to test those 144hz free sync waters. Plus the 24 inch display is perfectly within my 22-24inch sweet spot that I enjoy. Aoc is also a very good gaming monitor brand. Also keep in mind my computer build is getting a little dated so I didn't feel I could take full advantage of some of the new resolutions so if your build is on the cutting edge I'd probably look at a 1440p or a 4k monitor. All the gamer features of this are definitely nice but if you can run it I think you would enjoy the extra pixels more.Also good to note for anyone who hasn't done there research yet. If you have an amd gpu you want Free sync. If you have an invidia gpu then you want G-sync

Cuando había visto este objeto mucha gente decía que el monitor tenía los colores alterados y todo se veía mal pero parece que al momento que lo compre, eso ya había sido arreglado. Aparte de eso este monitor es excelente, no he tenido problema alguno con el y la imagen se ve perfecto.

Una buena pantalla si se busca economía, ofrece 144Hz a un precio adecuado, de las mejores en su rango de precio, tiene múltiples tipos de entrada así que da muchas posibilidades de conectarla. Verificar solo si te conviene con o sin freesync, ya que el precio te puede adecuar más.

An excellent monitor. 144Hz is an unbelievable step up from 60, and despite the relative cheapness of this monitor (I picked it up for only 260CAD with Prime, though it does generally go a bit higher) the quality is great. It has an adjustable stand, comes with the cords you may need (Displayport and HDMI, but keep in mind you need the display port cable to get 144Hz), has a nice clip for cable management, and after a little calibration the colours are nice on the panel itself, though I'm used to darker monitors, so I did have some issues with shadowy rooms becoming pitch black, this for the most part is not an issue, and actually looks nicer in some cases. This can easily be avoided with your settings if it's a real issue for you, though.It also comes with Freesync, but I cannot comment on how well this functions as I have a Nvidia card, which does not function with it. This isn't a major issue though, and the monitor would be well worth the price (in my opinion) even without, as due to it being 144hz screen tearing is generally less common. I'm sure it's a nice bonus for AMD users though.There are of course better monitors you could buy out there, but if you're just looking for something cheap with that oh so important 144hz refresh rate, this is a perfect choice.

Update: Nvidia hat mit dem Treiberupdate (417.71) vom 15.1.19 FreeSync/Adaptive Sync auf Nvidia-Grafikkarten freigeschaltet, jedenfalls für bestimmte Modelle (10er-Serie oder neuer, Windows 10, angeschlossen via Display Port (nicht HDMI oder DVI). Dies funktioniert angeblich auch gut mit diesem Monitor!Man hat also zukünftig die freie Auswahl, ob man an diesen Adaptive-Sync-Monitor eine AMD- oder (neuere) Nvidia-Grafikkarte anschließen will.--Vor dem Kauf hatte ich aufgrund der Amazon-Rezensionen hier einige Bedenken hinsichtlich der Farbwiedergabe des Monitors. Aufgrund der guten Rezensionen von Fachseiten im Netz habe ich dann jedoch zugegriffen, und wurde nicht enttäuscht:Der Monitor mit FreeSync/Adaptive Sync ist nicht nur sehr reaktionsschnell, sondern eignet sich meiner Meinung nach auch gut für normale Office-Arbeiten, bei denen es auf überdurchschnittlich, aber nicht perfekt naturgetreue Farbwiedergabe ankommt.Digital Artists, die ein reines Arbeitsgerät mit perfekter Farbwiedergabe suchen und die keinerlei Wert auf Geschwindigkeit legen, sollten zu hochpreisigeren IPS oder VA-Screens greifen. Wer aber einfach ein gutes Allroundgerät mit schnellen Bildwiederholfrequenzen und gutem Bild sucht, das sich auch für gelegentliche farbsensitive Arbeiten eignet, ist mit diesem Monitor meiner Meinung nach gut bedient. Man sollte sich nur etwas Zeit nehmen, den Monitor einmal gut einzustellen mit Internetseiten wie den "Lagom LCD monitor test pages" oder ähnlichen.Ich habe diesen Bildschirm mit zwei anderen TNs und einem VA-Screen verglichen und finde ihn vom Bild her am besten.Pro/Contra im Einzelnen:+ gute Verstellmöglichkeiten (Bildschirmhöhe, Neigung, Drehbarkeit)+ alle relevanten Anschlüsse sind vorhanden in der AMD FreeSync-Version (DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, VGA, sogar USB)+ lautlos (kein Spulenfiepen oder Ähnliches)+ sehr gute FPS, Response Time, Input Lag+ gleichmäßige und flimmerfreie Hintergrundbeleuchtung, keinerlei Wolken oder Ähnliches erkennbar+ keine Pixelfehler+ entspiegelte Oberfläche+ gute Farbwiedergabe, der komplette sRGB-Farbraum wird laut einschlägigen Testseiten abgedeckt, bzw sogar etwas mehr. Auch subjektiv gefällt die Farbwiedergabe+ Helligkeit/Kontrast: Der Screen ist wirklich sehr hell und kontrastreich, was zusammen mit der entspiegelten Oberfläche dafür sorgt, dass das Bild auch im hellen Zimmer gut aussieht. Reines Schwarz ist ziemlich schön schwarz, ohne dass man die Hintergrundbeleuchtung zu stark hindurch sieht, und reines Weiß kann man so hell einstellen, dass es in den Augen schmerzt, wenn man will... muss man aber natürlich nicht.Andere Rezensionen erwähnen, dass das Bild etwas zu "grau" und unkonstrastreich aussähe, aber das kann ich nicht bestätigen. Mein VA-Screen wirkt etwas kontrastreicher, was aber daran liegt, dass der Kontrast dort so hoch eingestellt ist, wodurch dunkle Bildbereiche ins Schwarze absaufen oder in reines Weiß ausreißen. Diesen meinen neuen Bildschirm habe ich dagegen so eingestellt, dass die Farbwiedergabe möglichst natürlich ist, und weder in Schatten noch Highlights Details verloren gehen. Wer will, kann das aber auch ändern, z.B. in den Gamma-/Kontrastsettings des Monitors, oder den AMD Radeon Monitor Settings oder unter Windows selber.o Mindesthelligkeit: Selbst auf Stufe 0 ist die reine Hintergrundbeleuchtung immer noch recht hell, was im dunklen Zimmer unangenehm sein kann. Mit Hilfe der übrigen Einstellungen des Monitors (oder auch der AMD Radeon Settings und/oder Windows-Einstellungen) bekommt man den Monitor aber quasi so dunkel, wie man möchte, so dass es auch in dunklen Zimmern keine Probleme gibt.- Blickwinkelabhängigkeit: Dies ist der einzige echte Nachteil des Displays, so wie aller TN-Displays: Schon leichte Bewegungen des Kopfes führen dazu, dass sich die Helligkeit des Bildschirms ganz leicht verändert, und wenn man komplett einfarbige Flächen betrachtet, sind die Ecken schon ein klein wenig dunkler als die Mitte des Bildes. Dies fällt aber bei normaler Benutzung des Monitors normal nicht auf - auch deswegen, weil man den Monitor gut auf die Kopfposition des Betrachters einstellen kann.Wie gesagt, meine obigen Aussagen beziehen sich auf die 24" FreeSync-Version des Monitors.Die GSync-Version ist deutlich teurer und bietet weniger Anschlüsse, was aber nicht am Monitorhersteller liegt, sondern an Nvidia: GSync funktioniert nur mit Displayport, und wenn ein Hersteller einen GSync-Monitor bauen will, benötigt er dafür ein Modul von Nvidia, dass diese sich teuer bezahlen lassen. FreeSync hingegen kostet den Monitorhersteller nichts extra.Update: mit dem letzten Treiberupdate unterstützt nun wohl auch NVidia FreeSync/Adaptive Sync, jedenfalls mit den neueren Grafikkarten (10er-Serie oder neuer, Windows 10, angeschlossen via Display Port (nicht HDMI oder DVI), was z.B. mit einer GeForce 1080 in Verbindung mit diesem FreeSync-Monitor auch gut funktionieren soll (gelesen, nicht selber getestet).Wer eine passende Grafikkarte hat, für den ist damit sicherlich die FreeSync/Adaptive Sync-Version dieses Monitors interessanter, denn die GSync-Version ist teurer und bietet weniger Anschlüsse.Wie gesagt: An diesen Monitor kann man natürlich alle AMD-Grafikkarten anschließen, und nun auch die neueren NVidia-Grafikkarten.Langfristig vermute ich, dass FreeSync/Adaptive Sync die neue Massenmarktvariante wird, die von allen GraKa-Herstellern (AMD, NVidia, bald auch Intel) und Monitorherstellern unterstützt wird, und GSync nur noch für die Highend-User interessant ist, die für ein in manchen Details etwas besseres Bild (jedenfalls laut NVidia) die mit GSync verbundenen Nachteile (teurer, weniger Anschlüsse, läuft nur mit NVidia-Grafikkarten) in Kauf nehmen.

L'écran est de très bonne qualité, la finition est bien et il a l'air d'être très solide.La connectique comprend toutes celles les plus utilisées à nos jours (vga, hdmi, displayport, dvi-d duallink). Quand au paramètres de configurations de l'écran ils sont assez complet et on peut même sauvegarder plusieurs configurations pour changer plus facilement.Les 2 prises USB sur le coté de l'écran paraissent gadget mais s'avèrent très pratique après utilisation !Par contre je tiens à faire porter l'attention sur ces détails TRES IMPORTANT :- L'écran doit être obligatoirement relié avec un câble DVI-D Dual Link ou un câble DisplayPort si vous souhaiter profiter du 144Hz.- L'écran est livré avec tout les câbles SAUF le DVI.- Vérifiez bien que si vous acheter un câble DVI-D se soit bien un Dual Link (sinon le 144Hz ne marche pas).- N'oublier pas de régler les paramètres de votre carte graphique et de votre Windows sur du 144Hz.- La fonction AMD FreeSync n'est disponible qu'avec le DisplayPort (et un carte graphique AMD bien sur).C'est un écran géniale une fois que l'on a bien su le prendre en main. De plus je trouve qu'à ce pris c'est une très bonne alternative aux écrans de la marque BenQ, qui (je trouve) sont beaucoup trop chère.
