Ginger Ray Afternoon Tea Party Cups

Really pretty and much nicer than white cups but the handles aren't strong enough to hold a cup of liquid especially not hot tea and the skirt thing that is just pushed on falls off.

I'm really disappointed with these cups, firstly they said no assembly yet the base wasn't attached, secondly the base was a total different colour from the actual cup (cream with gold spots) and finally the handle on the cup is so flimsy that my guests would definitely be injured if used for the purpose intended which was to have hot beverages. The cup itself would be ok if solely used for cold beverages as long as you rip the handles off.Not pleased at all.

Nice for decoration, you can't hold the cups by the handle as it's not strong enough but can hold them like a normal paper cup.

Absolutely useless! They’re called “afternoon tea cups”, but on the back of the pack, it says not suitable for hot liquids. So you don’t know this until you’ve paid, and opened them. Even assuming you WERE able to put hot liquid in them, there’s not enough space to put your finger through the handle. Not what you expect for the price. I bought the matching napkins and plates, they were beautiful and good quality, but I think calling these “afternoon tea cups” was a misnomer. I got them to do an afternoon tea for a friend’s birthday, it was a big disappointment.
