Pico Pica Hot Sauce, 7.0 Ounce

This is my favorite hot sauce in the WHOLE WORLD. I used to live in Arizona, which is where I first found out about Pico Pica. Coming to the east coast.... There really isn't anything that's even remotely equivalent. The best thing about Pico Pica is that it isn't just senselessly hot to show off how much you can withstand, it actually TASTES good. It's like.... a spicy enchilada sauce. Smoky, sweet, garlicy, with a really even and tolerable but in no way demure heat. The flavor in Pico Pica is so wonderful and deeply developed-there really is no sauce even remotely tasty. I am SO glad that it's available on Amazon because seriously, this is my #1 hot sauce. Yes, even more awesome than Sriracha but they both definitely have their places.

I love Cholula and it's still my #1 for most Mexican food, but I also very much enjoy the vinegar free Pico Pica. I put hot sauce on a lot of stuff, but I never really got into the hot sauce on eggs thing, even with my beloved Cholula. Even the relatively small amount of vinegar in Cholula ruins the taste of eggs for me. On a whim, I thought I would try some Pico Pica on some eggs...YUMM!!! Pico Pica, like Cholula is a medium heat hot sauce. Some people love to brag about their favorite ego-boosting, mega-Scoville, mouth blistering, bitter, and awful tasting hot sauce. This is not for them.... If you, like me, enjoy hot sauce because you actually like the taste, you really need to give Pico Pica a try. You can't buy this in a supermarket here in Florida, so Amazon is the place. Note that a single bottle is pretty pricey, but if you buy in quantity the price per ounce becomes downright reasonable.

My mom learned about this sauce from her Hispanic neighbor over 66 years ago and our family has been using it ever since. I'm a born and raised in So Cal gal and I've been many times to Mexico, Central, and South America and tasted so many hot sauces it's amazing my tongue hasn't fallen out. But hands down, nothing has ever compared to Pico Pica hot sauce. The flavors are a perfect blend, so that you get just the right amount of heat while still tasting all the wonderful chili flavors. Try it, you'll fall in love with this red bottle of delishiosity. Ok, maybe I made up the word, but it certainly describes just how yummy this is.

Great produce

The best sauce period. I have eating this sauce since the 1960's. I have tried many, many hot sauces over the years and I have never found one to compare. I recently moved to Missouri after living in CA, AZ and NV for most of my life and I have had to have friends ship some from CA. It is great on eggs, tacos, tostadas, rellenos, tamales, steaks, chips. I use it when I make guacamole. I am a total fan . Viva la salsa Pica Pica

Meh. Tastes like some kind of inexpensive enchilada sauce you find on tables in Mexican Restaurants.

Excellent. Excellent. It's a different type of hot sauce....Unique taste & flavor....I have been using this 4 a very long time, especially on tamales brings out the flavor....
