Made with less expensive components but does not work any differently.. Depends on the look you want more than the job it does. Seems quite solid. **Q: About how many bottles does one gas capsule support?** A: One gas capsule is worth about 15 glasses of wine (so at $7.50 capsule / 15 = about $0.50 per glass). But we get more than 3 bottles of wine out of each capsule: we Coravin about half the bottle (about 3 glasses) and then keep the other half bottle to open with a corkscrew, another night. So we get 4-5 bottles out of each capsule. One can definitely buy Argon gas cheaper than in the Coravin capsule (in other formats), but the Coravin capsule is still a good value proposition for us. **Q: Does this work for wine that comes in a box or wine that has twist cap tops?** A: They sell screw caps with a membrane in the top that can be used in place of the screw top that comes with the bottle or maybe the box. The volume required for a box might not be feasible from a cost perspective for the gas. Also, a box/bag is not as impermeable as a bottle so may not be worth the trouble. **Q: My wife enjoys white wine and i prefer red. if i change the coravin from white to red wine bottle, will i need to wash the needle in between bottles?** A: No need to wash the needle. Just blow some gas through it for a second or two between bottles. Para no abrir una botella cada vez que quiero un vaso de vino para comer es la solución ideal. Tengo varias botellas empezadas de diferentes vinos y voy cambiando según me antoje. Es un producto bueno aunque muy caro.
