RYANSTAR Aluminum Metal Paddle Shift Extension Compatible with VW Volkswagen Golf 7 MK7 GTI

Stylish and easy to Install. Will update my review after a month to see how long it holds

So I ordered 2 sets of these for my wife’s MK7 GLI and my MK7 GLI. I read all the reviews and everybody complained about the double sided tape and how it would not stick. Me being a service tech at Volkswagen, I had access to the industrial strength 3M Tape that we use on trunk spoilers. I cut out the shape of the paddle shifter extensions and stuck them on there. Installed both sets on both cars and pressed hard for about 30 seconds. To this day they haven’t fallen off or anything. For the price of these, just go buy better double sided tape and not even bother with the tape they send you. It’s too thin. Overall, nice quality extensions and not as ugly and obnoxious as those other kinds you see on Amazon that 10 inches long.

Great quality product. Purchased them because I hated the stubby rubber/plastic paddles from Volkswagen. They go over the existing ones, and have a pretty snug fit. Fun cheap add on.

Doesn’t fit mk7 alltrack plastic is wack metal part isn’t the worst finish but plastic sucks

Looks good and fits good on my mk7 gti 4 door dsg. With the chrome on the wheel it matches like it’s part of the car and not out of place. Would recommend to anyone with gti.

These were super easy to install on my GTI. At first it seemed like the adhesive would not hold, but after I let it sit for a few hours, I took my car out to test them and they were working great. They are a great product for this price range.

Easy installation and looks nice but not seamless. If all you want is an extension then this is great, however if you want a more seamless look id go for a direct replacement paddle for around $70 bucks. That's what I plan to do.

Doesn't fit the paddles on my 2017 golf sportwagen. Honestly I don't see how they can fit any paddles. They aren't contoured at all, the adhesive it comes with is hopeless and the overall shape doesn't match my paddles at all. I'll give 2 stars cuz they gave me a refund and the paddles themselves are actually decent quality and look nice. Just a shame they don't fit.
