For the price I paid I can't be all too mad
These boots are very comfortable but they to run a bit snug on the calf and I am a petite man but thats how I like my boots. These boots are very breathable and I never had a problem with sweating in them. Very good ankle support as well without being too stiff. The big con though; they did not last me too long. I bought these in May 2020 and by October the zipper wore out and I was unable to wear them again. I mainly use them for work, but I did bring them out one time for an 8 hour outdoor airsoft match and they took one hell of a beating but still held up for the summer. With that said, I am constantly on my feet and wound wear them regularly 12+ hrs 5 days a week and on days off of work.In short, these aren't really meant for blue collar work, sure they are comfortable, and look really nice too, but the zipper just didn't hold up which is a problem with a lot of combat boots. If the zipper was a metal YKK zipper as oppose to a plastic one they would definitely last longer.Just bought some Bates paratrooper side zips for more than double the price of these...lets see how those last.

Great Boot for the Price
Ok, if you buy tactical boots you know that the really good ones cost a lot of money. Spend $200 - $300 on a pair of tactical boots and you'll be thrilled and they'll last forever. We all aren't quite that blessed to have that kind of budget so I was on a quest to see what I could find that was cheaper. I took a chance on the Ryno's. I've been wearing them for a month now and so far they are working really well.Pro's: Good leather and good construction. They look nice and the tread pattern is a notch up from other brands in the same price range. The treads are very grippy. I walked out in the woods in the snow, and these boots gripped incredibly well. They grip well on ice too. They only squeaked a bit on floors when they are brand new, after wearing for a bit they are silent as can be. The zippers are good quality and have worked flawlessly since day one. Sometimes you just have to make sure the weather proof peace to the liner is tucked in before you attempt to zip up. I suspect those who had trouble were just being careless and not looking at what they were doing. It looks like the stitching and glue are all done well and everything is holding up great after a month of light desk duty.Con's: These boots are cold. My feet are cold in them most of the time (it's winter now). The soles seem a little thin now that I've been wearing them for a month. Perhaps in another month or two I'll get an insert to help with that. The velcro strap that goes over the zipped up zipper should have been made beefier. The strap is very thin for such a high use area. Not really much bad to say about them after a month. So far, I'd buy these boots again. My boots came with a bonus free pair of Ryno gear black socks too. Now that's the way to do business! Thank you to Ryno for them. The socks are great quality too!

Decent, but Size Up!
I bought a size 8.5. (Don't know why it says 9) These boots are very good for the price! Although they feel snug in the toe box. Definitely not for wide feet. I will probably buy these again but at least a size up. And the material isn't the best if I'm being honest. They feel rubbery sometimes. Bates make their boots too big for some reason so that's what drew me to these.
