Q: How Deep without counting the Lid?

Q: Looks like a quality set. 1st how does the quality compare to all clad? 2nd.where is it manufactured? 3rd is there a similar set with glass lids? thx

I have one Analon pot and 2 All-Clad. Since I have an induction cooktop, I find the All-Clad much superior (at more than twice the price). I believe it is manufactured in China, while most All-Clad is US made. Also the Analon saucepan I have is not weighted enough to keep the empty pot upright -- the weight of the handle makes it tip over. I know nothing about a set with glass lids.

Q: I just received the stainless steel copper base set. They are beautiful. Any advice on how to clean them properly. What to use.

Clean stainless steel cookware with nylon or plastic scrubbing pads. Don't use metal since scratching stainless steel can release quantities of nickel or chromium that might be hazardous. In addition, most stainless steel cookware has a copper or aluminum bottom that helps it to cook evenly. Avoid leaving salty or acidic foods in stainless steel for an extended period of time since the copper and aluminum may corrode.

Q: Is this set made in China?

It is not marked on the pots and pans themselves, and if I remember correctly from the box they came in, the pot and pans are made in Thailand, and the lids are made in China.
