This is a well designed little palette that is compact, yet contains 56 paint colors and three water brushes. It has large mixing areas plus a small sponge surface to blot your brushes. The sponge is removable so you can clean it. The paints are fair quality, but not terrible. They are well pigmented, but some don't blend well. Overall, this is a well designed, easily portable set for beginners. Great value for the price. I am very happy with my purchase.

Honestly buying this palette was a bit of a gamble for me. I was skeptical of the quality, but I wanted something that would be easy to transport, so I decided to try it out, and wound up being really pleasantly surprised! The colors are very vibrant- although the charts indicating what the colors look like aren’t very accurate, so I’d recommend swatching them first so you don’t accidentally use the wrong color. Other than that, it’s pretty great! (And is super easy to put away and clean up.) I’m really happy with this set and I’m looking forward to creating more with it!

Good quality paint in a creative, very usable, portable palate. Nice pigments and color choice. Colors mix well and as an aside. My grandkids love it.. I use it also when I don't need best quality paints.Also a good value

I already had another palette from the same brand and was very impressed with the quality so I purchased this one since it had more colors. The colors are bright and well pigmented. The palette itself is super compact and very portable. It has a lot of mixing space and the brushes provided are nice. Highly recommend for students and beginner artists in watercolors.

So mostly I got these so I could dabble in painting on the go and somehow they have become my favorite set of watercolors completely replacing my Komorebi Mozart set. The pigments are so pleasantly intense and not at all chalky, the only ones with any real opacity are the whites, metallic, and pastels. They texture is wonderful, they go on very smooth using either bristol smooth, Aqua Coldpress or Hotpress.I took a risk expecting mediocrity and expected my attempts at practicing en plein air would be chalky and drab like a lot of cheap paint sets seem to be. The color card that comes with the set is a little off so I definitely recommend swatching the paints. Sadly I cannot really say if it is good for painting on the go since it has been far too hot this year for spending much time outdoors, however it has been wonderful to use with my illustrations. I definitely recommend giving these a go!*edit*Having used these paints for a couple months I do have a complaint, after a lot of use some of the paints crack and warp making it impossible to close the fanned out paints once they are open, so even if I wanted to take it as a travel paint set I couldn't. Still really like the paints themselves though.

I ordered this watercolor for my travel because the tubes are messey and heavy to carry around. I have metal palette as well but they too are difficult to carry around due to the heavy weight.This palette has 56 colors with 3 watercolor brush pen. I love the inclusion of metallic colors as I use it quite often for my illustrations. The colors are well pigmented as you can see two mini drawings I have done with this set.

I love the convenience of this set -- it's compact, great for traveling, and wonderful to be able to have so many colors at my fingertips without even needing to mix. I bought this based on a recommendation of a YouTube watercolor artist, and I'm so glad I did. I have another Artsy set of watercolors that I enjoy, so I had a feeling I would like these as well.

These came quickly after I ordered and I was impressed by the full range of colors in the set, even some metallics. There are also a number of pastel colors which are made with some white pigment. While these are not as useful for serious watercolorists, they are great for people who are unsure of mixing tints for flesh tones and other subtle color variations. Each of the graduated trays has a little swatch chart at the end but they are not particularly accurate so I am swatching my own. So far, the colors are vibrant and pigment rich.
