LED Hat Clip Light, Cap Lights

I waited a while to review these so we could use them and give a proper review. These clamp securely to a baseball style hat and aren't so heavy as to pull it down. I like the motion sense feature it really comes in handy. We are outdoors folks so my wife and I have one each. They hold a nice charge, and I like how the unit has to be folded to access the charge port to protect it from rain and debris. Nice brightness, feels heavy duty without being heavy, and easy to use without looking at it.

Got these for walking my dog here in the Midwest where is gets dark early and stays dark late. My dog is 60 lbs strong, so I prefer to have my hands free to manage her. And i need both hands for bagging dog poo cleanly. My favorite part of wearing the light is that the light moves when my head moves, so I forget I'm wearing a flashlight. Is it a stylish look? Probably not. But it's dark anyway. No one can see you. Except drivers. And i promise, they are happy to be able to see you at night. I haven't had to wear it in rain or snow yet, so I can't speak on that yet. But even if they don't work after getting wet, the hands free light is worth buying again. They clip easily to the brim of a ball cap and sit right on top. They don't really seem to weigh the hat down, i.e. it doesn't feel like the brim starts to slowly sink down over my eyes. I can imagine all sorts of scenarios where these hands free lights would be the perfect solution. Changing light bulbs on your car, checking the oil, putting air in your tires. Shoveling snow. Putting up Christmas lights. Anything in the dark where you need to use both hands. There are two light levels. High and low. The lights also tilt, so you change where the light hits. I recommend. Been happy for two weeks with them. Haven't had to recharge them yet. 30 minutes a day use.

Even though the picture shows 4 units, you only get 2 units. The light is good and seems to last about an hour before it needs to be recharged. There is a four dot meter to show how much battery is available. No real directions come with it but it is not too hard to figure out. It is fairly lightweight but you need a well fitted cap or it will weigh down the brim. The plastic housing is adequate but I'm guessing fragile if it gets dropped or knocked around. I would buy this again if I needed it.

These do the job and have held up nicely after a few years. I used the clip with a ball cap and the light never fell off during long jogs. The battery life read out is convenient and the unit will recharge from empty in less than an hour. The standout feature is the ability to move the lamp up and down on the housing. Not only does this help in getting the right throw but it also allows the individual wearing the light to illuminate their body to some degree, increasing visibility. Sure enough the motion sensing works great which is an indispensable feature during colder months what with heavy gloves etc. The build is not of a high quality but that didn't diminish from the suburban functionality whatsoever. I dropped one of these once and it broke apart but easily snapped together. I can't recommend these for backpacking or camping because of the low quality build. Perhaps they're good for some spares while enjoying the outdoors. I used these for jogs around the neighborhood. These are a great value and I can highly recommend.

These are great. Lots of light, different light levels. Easy to adjust. I keep it plugged into my charger when I'm not using it. I've never had the battery die while I was using it. I may buy another one for a Christmas present for my DIY Grandson.

I bought 4 and kept two of these lights. I'd switch from the red to the blue one when one would run out. The BLUE one just quit working. The light works when it is plugged in, but it will no longer light after Just 8 MONTHS! They should last longer than that.

What a great clip-on light for your hat! This was a set of 2. Clips on easy on a ball cap and stays there well. There are two modes to turn the light on: Left switch turns on high, low, and off. Right switch turns on motion sensor on-swipe your hand in front of the light to turn on, again to turn off-very handy. Quality and build is decent enough. Brightness is good-great for grilling or even to light your way on a dark sidewalk or trail. Nice to be hands-free with light and get light exactly where you look.

Very cheaply made when you rotate the head up and down it catches and the body opens up exposing the battery. Also the light in not very bright even when fully charged.

Works well and lasts over 3.5 hours - ideal for my morning walk that start off in the dark through the woods

Perfect. It has made my early morning walks a lot safer as a lot of it is in poorly lit areas. The headlight leaves my hands free and it is not heavy on my hat. It is also transferable to other hats. Plus I have a spare one.

Bought the pair for hubby and I . They are light weight and perfect for ball cap, charge quickly and have a super great light! (Just bought my second set as hubby lost his 🙄)
