I had never used these before, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they work. Seeds sprout right up. They're thin, so they can't be used in a setup like a Garden Tower, but for growing in the ground, these are great.

These really have no place in any seed starting system. Use a peat pot or pod instead. These are very thin and do not break down readily, so that the plant is later constricted by the yoke these form over its stem. They also tend to grow mold, which will kill the sprout they are attached to. None of the plants that I started using these this system have done well.
