Passed them all to my friends daughters for safety purposes
Great little tool to keep for yourself. I handed them out to all my female friends and to their daughters for safety purposes. It's very loud enough to scare someone away. I ordered to sets and one of the whole bunch did not work which is disappointing.

A little difficult for elderly hands to hold and control, but certainly gives a sense of security!
Ordered 64 of these for a senior exercise group that I lead. In the eight boxes, only one alarm did not work. For the money they spent individually, ($3.35 per unit with prime shipping) the group is very pleased! They can go out at night, walk the dog, and have at hand in the car if they need help, and many were purchased for grandchildren and daughters. Personally, I hope they never need to use it, but it is a nice friend to have close at hand. Need to order at least 2 dozen more!!!

Super loud, great personal safety alarm
I saw a similar personal alarm on the backpack of a young woman recently and started to search for one for myself. I found this alarm after reading the reviews for the other alarm and decided that this one was the better of the two. The number of decibals was higher and pricing was better too.I bought them for myself and the two woman who take care of my mother-in-law on a 24/7 basis. They are great and I want to be sure they are safe when out and about on their own. My husband decided that he wanted one also when I showed him how they work and how loud they were. I still have 4 left as either backups or additional gifts.I tested all 8 alarms, since one or two reviewers mentioned that they had received some that were not working. All 8 were loud as could be. Great item to give as gifts this holiday season.
