Dupli-Color HLR100 Headlight Restoration Kit

This review is only for the clear uv protective spray. It works awesome! The sheeting action makes it easy to coat and protect the headlights after restoration* without the orange peel or potential for runs of traditional clear coats. 20 minutes between two medium coats and a minimum two hour wait to drive. This stuff cures as strong as the oem coating after about a day or two in the sun and returns that oem gloss and clarity.Use caution though and use an appropriate respirator when spraying the clear coat, the fumes are very noxious.* By restoration I mean complete removal of the oem headlight coating, restoration/correction of the plastic surface, and restoration of optical clarity through various steps of sanding and polishing either by hand or by mechanical means. The steps I mentioned are well beyond what this kit offers but the uv coating alone is worth the price if you want a final step to protect your work and the headlight for many years.
