Baby's My First Easter Basket Playset - Baby Gund

I ordered this for my daughter for her first Easter. It is darling! It has the signature Gund softness, and each piece is simply darling.As others have mentioned, it is small. It really is designed for babies under the age of 1 (as babies' first Easter will largely occur before baby turns 1). It is the perfect size for little, infant hands, and it contains little rattle-like toys (a sure hit with infants).The picture does seem to show more vivid colors than the produce has -- they're definitely more pastel than bright.This is not a large basket with full-sized stuffed animals. These toys are basically rattles -- think slightly smaller than Beanie Baby size. It is really quite hard to get an idea of stuffed animal size from measurements, but hopefully, that helps.The basket is plush, so it is not something that can be used for storage later. There also is not much room in it for additional items. (I managed to slip in a carrot rattle from Gymboree, but that's really all that could fit.)As for value, if you consider the price of individual Gund stuffed rattles, this is a bargain. I also appreciated not having to put it together myself.

This is the 5th basket we’ve gotten from this brand. We’ve got Halloween Thanksgiving Christmas Valentines and now Easter. Baby loves all of them and they are easy to use once she’s covered them in drool. Some have squeakers so watch your dogs since they may mistake it for their own toy.

This is for my Grandsons first Easter. I specifically bought it for two reasons. First that is a Gund product, but 2nd because it shows in the photo that it is stitched around the basket "my first Easter " It isn't on the basket, only on a removable tag! Also it is extremely small for the price. Talk about paying for a name. But he's only one, so the only questions will come from my daughter.

It’s a very cute 1st Easter Basket. However it is quite smaller than I anticipated (Juice pouch for reference) but for my 5month old son it will be perfect. He’s not going to remember it anyways so it will be great memorabilia to save for him when he’s older. Very soft, and the toys are good size for his little hands. I wouldn’t buy this Easter basket for any kid above 1 year though, I don’t think they’d find much entertainment from it.

I bought this for my daughter for her first Easter, and she absolutely loved it. She carried it with her everywhere, and got a kick of out the crinkle sound it made. The bunny is very cute as well, and she was shortly entertained by the rattle inside it. The little chick got her attention whenever you pressed it, since it makes little 'peep peep' noises. She even loved the basket it came in, and liked to empty it and fill it with different toys.Cons:It doesn't teach your child anything at all, besides what noise a baby chick would make.A child can become bored very easily with it if they're a bit older. I would think ages 3-9 months would be the best age for this toy.Pros:Very durable, a dog got a hold of the little egg and it still hasn't torn and still makes the crinkle noise. The chick still makes 'peep' noises and the bunny still rattles almost a year later.Small (but not unsafe) enough she likes to carry it around with herVery softOverall, I would purchase this as a gift for someone I knew with a new child on Easter.

Cute basket for babies, especially two of them for Twins.

This is the most darling little soft basket for a baby you could ever find. I purchased it for my grandson who is 3 months. While he was not really aware of the purpose for it, he did enjoy and smile over the little stuffed toys that come with it. The little chick is just the most precious thing. You squeeze it's tummy and it "peeps" several times. The bunny is floppy and has a rattle in it. The little egg can be gripped and squeezed and has the sound of screechy plastic in it. This little set is a keepsake and it was such a joy to see it when it arrived. I was so pleased with it and was proud to give it to my little guy.
